Ahh, then the Xeon would fit for your budget nicely. It's still an i7 without IGPU and 0.1GHz slower.
Here's my suggestion.

Proc - Xeon 1230V3 RM 799
Mobo - Asrock B85 Killer RM 299
GPU - MSI R9 290 Gaming Edition RM 1649
RAM - 2 x 8 GB Value RAM RM 458
PSU - Seasonic M12 620 RM 359
SSD - Plextor M5S 128GB RM 289
HDD - 1TB WD Blue RM 189
Casing - Corsair Carbide 300R RM 299
ODD - LiteOn DVDRW RM 59

All for RM 4,400. Prices from Viewnet. But it seems that you want to OC it. OC don't need water cooler unless you want to push the very max. If it's just a simple OC the Scythe Asura is good enough.

Here's an OC'able rig suggestion.

Proc - i7-4770k RM 1089
Mobo - Asrock Z87 Extreme 4 RM 539
GPU - Gainward GTX 770 Phantom RM 1185 [ Lingloong ]
HDD - 1TB WD Blue RM 189
SSD - Plextor M5S 128GB RM 289
PSU - Seasonic M12 620 RM 359
RAM - 2 x 8GB Value RAM RM 458
Casing - Corsair Carbide 200R RM 229
ODD - LiteOn DVDRW RM 59
Cooler - Scythe Asura RM 179 [ IdealTech ]

All for RM 4,575. Prices from Viewnet cept GPU and Cooler from per said.

PS - The R9 290 is on par with 780 fyi. The 1st build more onto gaming power brows.gif Many RAM cause you're using Adobe. From what I've been on the web for some time I've learned that most of Adobe utilize RAM capacity.

beside the lower cost, me no understand why recommend Xeon 1230V3 vs i7-4770k?

Because it's still the same. It's only have the "K" which mean it can be OC. Xeon cannot OC. The Xeon, i7-4770, and the K variant are the same in terms of cores and thread but different in terms of GHz. Xeon 3.3 GHz and can boost to 3.7 GHz. i7 non K 3.4 GHz and can boost to 3.9 GHz. K is 3.5 GHz boost to 3.9 GHz and beyond by OC'ing. The i7 has integrated graphics while the Xeon has none and relies on the GPU as output to monitor. Since you want to game on it that's why I recommend the Xeon. Cheaper but in terms of speed more or less the same.

i7 4770K OC's sweet spot is how many GHz?

..... Otherwise, clocking the 4770K to 4.2Ghz is enough.

Noted and can run at 4.2Ghz 24/7?

How is AMD cheaper with FX-8320? You will need at least 8-phase VRM motherboard(RM469 for Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3) so it doesn't kill the motherboard.  On top of that, the power supply requirements is higher for AMD CPUs.

You are building a gaming rig. Intel is better for it and there are more games that favors Intel.

Core i5-4690K - RM739
Asrock Z97 Anniversary motherboard - RM399
Corsair 8GB DDR3-1600 x 1 - RM244
MSI R9 280X 3GB DDR5 - RM1099
Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD - RM275
Corsair VS 550W power supply - RM179
Aerocool VS-3 Advance casing - RM109

RM3044 total

Does Asrock Z97 Anniversary mobo allows you to overclock the i5-4690K with few keystrokes only? hmm.gif

The only main reason is that it's cheap. Most other basic Z97 boards cost nearly about RM100 more. It is made specifically for use with Pentium Anniversary, but since it is a Z97 board, it can also be used for other K processors. However, this board actually lacks many other features, you can compare with other Z97 then you will see. smile.gif
*
Thanks for the heads up, was about to buy this mobo.
err....wat it actually lacks that many other have?
so for RM100 more what Z97 to get?

They have basic onboard audio, no SATA express or M.2 connector, not SLI/CFX capable and also weaker power phase. In short, it's a no frills basic Z97 board, meant specifically for Pentium Anniversary (of cos other K series CPUs as well). wink.gif

You're looking to overclock? In that case, you might consider those in the RM500 range that definitely has stronger power phase and all those features that I mentioned above.

how about Z97 Extreme4?
or specifically wat other mobo?

Bro,
For running 24/7 and OC to 4.2, rendering video, which one better and cost effective?
1. Hyper 212X vs Noctua NH-D14 vs Noctua NH-D15?
2. Corsair Carbide 300R vs CM Storm Scout 2?

Does Leadtek GTX770 4GB DDR5 needs 2 x 8-pin power connector and will the SeaSonic M12II 620W PSU have the 2 x 8-pin power connector? rav3n82 hmm.gif
