Hello to all sifus and pros,

My mom's PC in her office just dead a moment ago and looking for a replacement. My budget is 1400 with Windows 8 and the main purpose is just to do accounting work, can you recommend a rig for me?

GTX 750 is good enough for Dota 2 under 1080p. What other games your friend will play? You can upgrade to a better graphic card if you plan to play FPS games e.g BF4, COD or etc.

erm. shud be csgo and other offline games such as pes or fifa14, dats all i think. i3 proc can tahan for 2-3 years?

plus, is the mobo good? whats the diff with rm280 mobo and rm170 mobo?

i3 should be fine for 2 - 3 years, depending on the games you play. An upgrade to your graphic card should do the trick.

Entry level mobo usually have lesser SATA 3 or USB 3.0 ports.

Please also take note there are also games that demands CPU power like Watchdogs, MMORPGs and RTS.

There is difference between GTX750 and GTX750 Ti as well. RM124 for 8GB built-in SSD on Seagate SSHD is expensive. I would suggest going regular 1TB then buy 128GB SSD later. You can always add it later and reinstall or migrate the OS. Data migration has no data loss.

Yeah, the price dropped a lot. Hard to predict the lifetime of it because there are always some games that demands more power.
