For me I feel like my feet can rest better and more comfortable if I drive wearing slippers only on a suspended accelerator |

If the floor mat isn't fixed.... for organ type, the mat may slip over the pedal, causing slight nuisance and less feel. For suspended type, at full throttle, mat slips over pedal, driver decides to slow down and lifts foot over pedal, pedal got stuck by mat and remained depressed, car doesn't slow down, driver panics, crash.

QUOTE(ktek @ May 10 2014, 03:40 PM) Drive by wire usually has a smooth and linear acceleration? Cause Ive driven 2 DBW turbocharged car and when I press the accelerator gently, it moves smoothly unlike Proton (CFE) traditional accelerator, where I push lightly also theres this kick push into your seat feeling when acceleratingThis post has been edited by Boy96: May 10 2014, 03:45 PM |

Cause Ive driven 2 DBW turbocharged car and when I press the accelerator gently, it moves smoothly unlike Proton (CFE) traditional accelerator, where I push lightly also theres this kick push into your seat feeling when accelerating CFE is also drive-by-wire.There are two types, drive-by-cable which is in older cars and drive-by-wire which is used in all new cars. The main difference is, dbw usually there is a slight electronic lag between pressing the pedal and the throttle responding. Drive-by-cable has immediate response because they are mechanically connected. Non-CFE Campro are infamously known for their dbw lag. |

Im a light foot driver always feathering the throttle, i almost forgot when was the last time i press more than half of the throttle or even full throttle. Therefore no difference for me for either type of the pedal.

Suspend one is easier for heel and toes while organ one is great for car without clutch.

Organ...better if all pedals come up from floor...
![]() Because your heel is the pivot...so should the pivot of the pedal be from the bottom instead of above This post has been edited by butthead: May 11 2014, 12:52 AM |
