if the lens is "too fast", you can always narrow down the aperture to make it "slower" biggrin.gif

Any camera body can do this kind of shot.

hmmm why do you say so?

based on the picture, should be something like 50mm or 85mm at f4 or something? quite easy to achieve actually, even beginner body + kit lens can do.

in the old days, I would have ring a UV filter with petroleum jelly to get the soft effect. Yes any medium tele lens and body will produce this effect. or a wide aperture if there is insufficient subject to camera distance is the issue. Alternative is to use a vintage lens like rectilinear meniscus lens. which will produce a highly flare image due to high backlight and a very soft vintage effect.

Wear so nice but the background is terrible. The surrounding area is too distracting.

@DvDex
If you're trying to get the same "mood" of the picture, that one depends on the light and the location, not so much on the lens and body.

Have you tried to save the image and read the EXIF file?
Some might got some additional info such as body of DSLR and lenses.
Some might even preserve the ISO, aperture and shutter speed etc.

Here's a free edit for you.
Just bringing back some lost details in the shadows.
I didn't do anything about the CA on the top left and the over saturated leaves to the right though.
