got it today. card was delivered to branch on 4 Aug (according to the delivery acceptance stamp on the bank's book).
No one called me or informed me. The branch manager said HQ would have called me. The customer service said the branch manager would call. The CC dept said the branch will call me. (sad to see PBB's customer service has become so Malaysian-Style)
In the end, I was the one who CALLED to check and picked it up myself.
So that's a total of 3 weeks.
When i applied MBB 2Cards, i got it within 1 hour, with a RM10 complimentary starbucks voucher.
Priceless comment. No one called me or informed me. The branch manager said HQ would have called me. The customer service said the branch manager would call. The CC dept said the branch will call me. (sad to see PBB's customer service has become so Malaysian-Style)

Public Bank Customer Service also tells me that it takes about two weeks to get your application approved, and the card to be delivered to your house or home branch.
How come Maybank can be so efficient in performing eligibility check, CCRIS check and CTOS check within an hour, whereby Public Bank needs 2 weeks? Kudos to Maybank for their speedy approval on credit card.
Perhaps, Public Bank Card Centre needs to organize 2-week long meetings, with Tan Sri Teh and Public Bank Upper Management, before they can process credit card application for a commoner like me.
