QUOTE(Gen-X @ May 10 2014, 01:14 AM) does this card earn Cash Back for other transactions besides dining, grocery and online transactions? If no, what is the point of minimum CL RM30K since the cash back is capped at RM60. CL RM2K is enough, hahaha. Okay you do earn 1 VIP Point, but I bet the returns will be less than 0.5% for cash vouchers. Therefore this is not competitive compared to say OCBC Titanium Mastercard which you give you1% CB. And one only earns 1X Point for overseas transactions. This is really a joke for a so called Premier credit card. I can tell you PBB will terminate or revise the 6% CB in less than 2 years just like what OCBC did for their Titanium MasterCard. This is because no one here in LYN CC Section is so stupid to go use the card for any other reason except to earn the RM60 monthly CB (max spending RM1K/month). Well, maybe those who want the free local airport lounge access can go use it at McD when overseas (and earn 6% CB too), hahaha Hmm.. how is Titanium's 1% better then 6% here wor? I currently using MBB's AMEX + Watami (for my insurance auto debit only) and OCBC's Titanium... Looking to replace the useless Titanium.... thinking of using this card... Not sure what's a good replacement for the Titanium...

QUOTE(iamoracle @ Aug 6 2014, 02:21 PM) Take note of this term for the guaranteed welcome gift. Cardmember who applied Public Bank Credit Card via online www.pbebank.com and direct sales agencies are not entitled for this offer. You must spend RM1,000 and above within the first 2-months from the card approval date to get RM150 cash back from the earlier promotion. Info Here.To receive the gift from this promotion, you must spend an accumulated retail purchase of RM2,000 within 2-month from card approval date. Those gifts don't look like anything worth more than RM150. But, I might be wrong. Um... so where should we apply this card to get the freebies?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Aug 26 2014, 09:47 PM) Decision decision. Spend RM600 using watami for 3% or using PBB VS (not in 6% catogery) to qualify for cash back promo. Do both.

QUOTE(confuzan @ Aug 27 2014, 11:32 AM) it seems like it... perhaps because paypal charges the card in RM straight away. for your reference, my transaction on july 22. Conversion from: RM44.48 MYR Conversion to: $13.50 USD Exchange rate: 1 Malaysian Ringgit = 0.3035 U.S. Dollars Not bad... you probably lose about 150 basis point (I didnt check that day's rate) so its more or less like money changer rate anyway

QUOTE(laymank @ Feb 24 2015, 08:12 AM) Visa PayWave has a cap limit for each wave. It cannot be used for large amount transaction. In fact, with or without signature, there is still a chance for fraud. We just need to be diligent in making sure our card is safe. How many times did you notice the sales staff checks the signature? I was under the impression if the signature is obviously different, then the responsibility lies with the vendor for failing to check?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 24 2015, 10:44 AM) if the signature is obviously different, the person who signed under cctv is obviously not you nor your family, and the cc is still in your possession. then you may succeed. First 2 I can understand... 3rd?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 24 2015, 10:59 AM) means if you lost your card, you need to call bank(s) to block your card(s) and/or make a police report immediately. if it's still in your possession but someone managed to swipe it, means that your card has been duplicated. I know what it means. But sometimes u cant report immediately... being tied up and left for naked at the highway makes it hard to call your bank

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 24 2015, 11:37 AM) what a shocking experience (or imagination) you had! kena tied up, somemore naked, lagi at highway pulak tu! anyway when you make a police report, you will need to mention the time and date you were robbed. so if your cc being used in between the period of you being robbed and making a police report, you can still dispute it, furthermore with your tormenting case. Less imaginative would be kena chop a few times and masuk ICU... also susah make police report. Anyway I wouldnt doubt that no matter in what scenario we are most probably at the mercy of the banks. Consumer protection in Malaysia is near non-existence

QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Apr 18 2015, 11:17 PM) yea...outstanding car loan, house loan too high already... my fren also faced that, he own 7-8 credit card, 3 house loan, 1 car loan, but lately new credit card application has been rejected. For car loan/house loan, we can use FD/Stock to support commitment, but for cc application, anyone do that before? normally they just request payslip, never ask for extra Why need until 7~8 credit card? Whats the point unless u can max out all their cash back...
