was told you need to pay stamp duty 0.5% of CL, meaning to pledge with FD for this card you need to pay RM150.

Payment for TM unifi via payonline can be made via this cc and enjoys the 6% cash rebate. This is a good for wise card holder who doesnt enjoy cash rebate on TM payment. It is strange that the payment for TM unifi could not be made at the TM unifi portal as it states that "this credit card cant be used for the payment" while I can pay the same bill via payonline portal.

no idea, anyone can clarify?

I went to PBB and this was informed by the customer service.

Also if you pledge it will be board rate, you cannot participate in any promo FD.

When my initial application was unsuccessful, i tried to appeal by pledging FD. I was only required to pay RM10 for the setem hasil to be affix to the 'right to set-off' form. Never heard of that 0.5% stamp duty thing at all.

May I know how long the application takes? I had submitted my application more than 1 weeks ago. The CS asked me to check with them again after 2 weeks time. It takes so long to approve/reject the application? @@

Some banks will impose that charge. CIMB is one of them, they call it lien, something like that.

You can check the status via the hotline IVR.
If it's still under review, the IVR will say 'In Progress'.
If approved, it'll say 'Approved'.

It all depends on your credit rating and of course your income. Public Bank are known to be very strick in evaluating their customer's credit rating. If your credentials are good, they will even offer it to you without you applying. (No pun intended but to let you know how "kiasi" this bank is well known for). nod.gif

really lousy this PB bank .. as usual

wanted to pay about 7 bills online... and cannot select the option to choose payment from cc. (only savings can)

Called cs and they ask to go to the branch to link the cc to account for payment.

but i can already view the account @ online banking.

really wasting time.

have to revert back payment using ocbc
