planning to apply pbb visa platinum card cos limit tak sampai, need to pay anything? also am i entitle for the handphone samsung promo?

i am considering between PB AIA visa card and PB Visa platinum card, will these 2 give me these features?

1. samsung handphone sign up promo?
2. 0% for 6mths BT (no fees too)
3. 0% flexipay installment for 12 months on transaction?

1 2 and 3 all will be eligible ..but not sure if 1 still valid ..still saw the promo at the website..didnt check the date though..and only certain card applies to 1

anyone experience a really long time for the processing of this card application?

yes, i only get my card after 1 1/2 months to 2 months.

just received mine

submitted around mid april...so total 1 month

still eligible for the swipe rm80 for the handphone

Originally sent application on 12th April. Second submission on 22nd April, today just got the news that it has been approved and posted to the branch i requested.

Can't wait for the samsung phone to be in my hand

Similar to my case - submitted online application on 13th of April, check the status on 27th of April and the automated system stated application not found. Resubmitted on 27th of April and didn't received any news from PBB since then.

Received Poslaju delivery notice yesterday and went to pick up the item just now, and it is the PBB Visa Signature card, but I'm not sure if it is from the first or second application.

Just activated the card, still undecided on which promotion to go for - the entry level Samsung smartphone (RM299 MSRP) or the watch (retail price unknown).

haiz yesterday got email say got rejected. dun knw wanna appeal anot ..... can pledge FD to get the card ? anyone knw how much ?

Not possible for both?

pledge fd to get a pbb cc (especially pbb vs) is not worth:
1) high stamp duty 0.5% of your fd amount (min fd of 34k for pbb vs)
2) and you not sure when pbb will end its vs 6% feature

the worst case will be pbb ends their 6% cb in the following month after you paid the rm170 stamp duty. inability to earn back from cb utilisation, it simply means that you paid rm170 for a useless cc and have a 34k stuck in fd in a pbb branch.

second thought not preceeding with it..... Aim for its online and dining 6% rebate

However, just found out alternative ,

HLB Mach card = 5% rebate for dining

UOB vox card = 5 % rebate for online transaction
or
CIMB Plat cash rebate = 5% rebate for online transaction

down side you need 2 cards and 1% lower rebate

But good alternative for those who cant get visa signature

Have a question to ask:
- If I pay my Unifi fee through unifi portal, and TNB/Celcom/Maxis fee through UOB Payonline, are these payment qualify for 6% cash back? Or do they qualify for the 12% cash back promotion?

the 'up' side is you have bigger amount to spend (RM1000 for dining and RM1000 for online).

Lol like i able to filly utilise the rebate cap. If i can spend tat much , my monthly salary should able to get me this card
