The lowest i could manage to swipe was S$1.40 for a cup of soya bean. Too bad they don't accept cards now.

i wonder if outstanding BT (not due) play a role in this.

they could have just asked for 30k FD as my CL, why need to discount 10%?

Payment for CC and loan are on time so far for past few years.
*
This 10% will make PB NPL rate remain low, just in case of default. PB really care about their image so this came as no surprise.

was told you need to pay stamp duty 0.5% of CL, meaning to pledge with FD for this card you need to pay RM150.
*
Huh !? Wasn't it should be RM10 .

no idea, anyone can clarify?

I went to PBB and this was informed by the customer service.

Also if you pledge it will be board rate, you cannot participate in any promo FD.
*
When my initial application was unsuccessful, i tried to appeal by pledging FD. I was only required to pay RM10 for the setem hasil to be affix to the 'right to set-off' form. Never heard of that 0.5% stamp duty thing at all.

I wonder if it is possible to get another way round to get this card without 100k income or pledging 35k FD.

Such as proving that you have cash share trading account with 30k?
*
Sorry, you have to pledge some sort of colleteral which is acceptable to the bank if you do not meet the requirement.

he found the answer as below.

i also think it should be considered as online but it wasn't...
so technically you are wrong.  laugh.gif
*
To clear the confusion, to identify online transaction is to refer to posmode, not MCC . Posmode will tell whether the trnx is a swiped , MOTO or online trnx. MCC only highlight the merchant category.

what is MOTO?
*
That is Mail Order Telephone Order . Just think that you buy a copy of Newsweek magazine and you decided to subscribe to 1 year subscription by filling up the form with your card details... That is a MOTO transaction. Likewise you watch an advertisement on TV and you decided to call that telephone number to buy that item... Thats MOTO trnx too.

Thats because 30% of the rice already become black bull !! And if it is sold at normal price, sunwhite reputation will 100% become like MAS !
