i wonder how u all know what merchants get 6% cashback while others dont... I check my pbe statement, it wont show direct cashback from each transaction, but show as a total cashback in the end of month, like RM60 CR (/DR)...

If you get Bonus Points... then it's not under the 6% category.

NOT ENTITLED 6%

strangers at 47 section 17 PJ.

weird because it is a restaurant...

and they are using a pbb terminal, although there is a running promotion of 10% discount if using pbb card.

There's other cards out there icon_rolleyes.gif

Well I believe this is the only card that gives cashback without any spending condition, and I am planning to use this as my primary card, while keeping M2 Amex as backup for weekend spendings.

Anyway I called PB today and they told me income documents are not required if we apply for this card by pledging FD.

Citibank Platinum Cashback doesn't have spending condition either.... I use that for petrol to complement my PBB VS & MBB AMEX, since sometimes I'm force to fill up on weekdays so can't use AMEX to earn c/b.

It doesn't have a spending but a criteria to accumulate your cash back before credit back to you.

Thanks all. Went to the bank earlier and they told me need to pay administrative charges and handling fees around rm300++ just to pledge FD for card application. I was caught by surprise as I'm not aware of such charges. Guess I'm out of luck with getting this card.

Is there any other card that gives cash back for dining and online payment with no strings attached? I don't need cash back for petrol.

For me, getting a card is just to replace my cash in my wallet.
And if they want to put more T&C which in favor to them only, sorry, I won't take such card.
