QUOTE(echobrainproject @ Nov 16 2017, 09:19 AM) have you guys tried TUSQ picks? They're not easy to find but after using the yellow "warm" one, fell in love with the tone it produces. Just have to buy a few different sizes and thickness for different uses. i saw tusq picks before in that yamaha outlet in tropicana city mall...but that outlet no longer there i think.maybe other yamaha outlets may have. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 15 2017, 09:05 PM) hmm, they're actually cut like that...tho the tip doesn't bother me as i never use that part. Jazz IIIs! Have never really been comfortable with picks until I got myself these. Always bring a black and red one with me while experimenting with max grip..[attachmentid=9340871] |

Oho....only thought graph tec had nuts, didn't realize they had picks. They're self-lubricating. And there's even a bi-angled, it seems
Is the material grippy? doesn't look like there's anything much on the surface besides the font, but the material looks matte like a tortex pick, perhaps as grippy? This review on comparison between TUSQ and the Jazz III and Gravity picks looks interesting, can try test it out if I can find one. I've got a bunch of v-picks too but after trying them didnt feel like it lived up to its hype. Bloody hell expensive too and if anyone loves it i dont mind giving it away. Had the Chicken picker, diamond and stiletto. Still so far its the TUSQ that impresses me the most. I was surprised at how much it affected tone. More focused to that than slippery / dropping of picks because when I play live I always have tonnes of picks within reach. This post has been edited by echobrainproject: Nov 17 2017, 11:00 AM |

Jazz iii? Converted to the Jazz iii religion since 9 years ago. Best decision ever! Unfortunately they stopped producing the orange ultex version that i like but the max grip is dope too.

kirk hamster? no thanks. [/quoted lol i like the green color though, many times when i drop the black & red ones they're so hard to find. the cuts somehow helps to loosen my grip somehow but it gets unwieldy when i'm playing rhythm, probably that's my technique issue.. |

Can't see myself sticking to itStill it aint a bad pick |
