Hi I would like to ask for some ideas, if my new house won't be installing any plaster ceiling, what are the lighting options and designs that i can have? I do not want to have the one long fluorescent tube light or the rounded fluorescent tube light. I wanted something like LED as well to save cost on electricity on the long run and also decently presentable. May i know the options that i have?

Reason of not wanting to install plaster ceiling is because the house ceiling height is not very high and also i wanted to save money on spending on the plaster ceiling.

ya just to clarify at the moment is just plain ceiling

Based on S'aimer's suggestions, for that to happen means i will need to hack the ceiling wall right in order to extend the wiring since at the moment the wiring is at the center only.
