So would I be able to feed my SG raisins off the shelf from the supermarket? Right now I'm looking at the small box of Ligo California seedless raisins.
Would it be okay to feed that to my SG? Or can someone recommend a brand of raisins?

QUOTE(smellyocheese @ Sep 25 2006, 10:57 PM) Larkown bought a male glider from me not too long ago. if it wasn't for the fact that I saw how inquisitive of him and such and somewhat desperate to get a glider, I wouldn't have sold it to him. I'm guessing the glider he sold to you was from me. sheesh. poor lil fella. being tossed around is not good for a baby glider. did he sell you the cage and all as well? rush me so much and see what he does. yea, me and Mortario bought the SG from Larkowen (yup cage and all). He's abt 3 months (nearing 4 months old) now. This is a picture of him one week ago. Not very clear because we didn't dare to take him out or use the flash for fear of scaring him.![]() He's alot friendlier with us now and was running around the outside area of the cage yesterday exploring objects nearby So don't worry! QUOTE(smellyocheese @ Sep 26 2006, 12:28 PM) anyways, good to know that he's in better hands. apparently larkowen couldn't handle this lil fella. Naw I think Larkowen didn't have enough time so he didn't want the glider to be lonely.Right now he's still getting familiar with us and doesn't usually want to come out of the cage until we bribe him with food In the meantime...still haven't gained enough of his trust yet and we can't file his nails so we have scratches all over our hands This post has been edited by snx8: Sep 26 2006, 01:35 PM |

I've been to the pasar malam, the 100yen shop in ss2, and all over Midvalley but I still can't find anything Does anyone know where I can get a bag in the PJ location? |

My bf just told me that our glider has been eating the fresh newspaper he uses to line the cage..as well as his own poop.
Should I be worried or is this behavior normal? |

QUOTE(sangterap @ Jan 3 2007, 08:37 PM) snx8, My glider is abt 7 months and we've had him for abt 4 now. Yep i only have 1 glider but we've been making sure to spend time with him..so not sure abt the loneliness thing. is your sugar glider young or you have kept it for a very long time? My guess is that if it is alone, maybe it is some sort of loneliness syndrome or the bigger possibility would be its diet. What are you feeding your glider? As for his diet..his staple food is hun's glider mix and meal worms, with random fruits like raisins, honeydew, grapes and papaya. |

Ack I fell for the Quicko thing as well at Ikano. My glider wouldn't touch it..and then when I looked it up on the net i found nothing but bad reviews. Kinda dissapointed at the Ikano pet store for bringing in this crappy product and offering nothing else for gliders
imo they shouldn't be selling gliders if they can't offer the proper food for em as well. |
