Males will have a bald spot(botak).. then it means it is adult already.
Yes, gliders need large cages so yah, need to spend money lah.
Gliders can readily breed at the age of 8 months old.... they are different from hamsters and rabbits lah.... breeding would need hideboxes, good supply of proper food. Their diet cannot have any seeds or nuts coz it can cause blockage in the gut.
Dogfood can be given but only when it is soaked and should not contain garlic(most dogfood contain garlic). Hard dry dogfood that has not been soaked can cause a disease known as lumpy jaw.
There should be a variety of fruits in the diet, not just apples.
Also 25% of their diet should be insects.... should be feeding crickets and mealworms.

i suggest u not to breed as there are complications coming if u are doing so...it may kill the glider and also the baby without fundamental knowledge of rearing a glider. It is not as simple as breeding hamster or rabbit as they are from the different Order of the animal kingdom thus requires full attention towards it.
And also you may risk losing your adult gliders as well

as they are cannibal towards their own kind

I agree totally to this
gliders should not be seen as breeding machines lah.... they do need extra care and research... really different animals from rodents....
