anyways, insider update on those gliders in PW.

Those gliders are quickly transfered to Great Eatern Branch following the letter from the newspaper. and the MV branch is closed for renovation.

the manager incharge of those gliders and pets wonderland mid valley is resigning, following a job offer at pets family as an operation manager.

the gliders condition have not improved at all...the steps that this company has taken is not to imedietly improve the living condotions of them but to transfer then to another branch to avoid legal problems. SPCA has NOT replied to any of my mail.

I am not sure of the name of the shop. Will find out more from my friend later.

Also.... I can't believe Pets Wonderland will do such a cover up on their glaring abuse of SGs! It is so so expected. These pet shops only think of profit and making money. If a few animals get sick in the process its no big deal for them. Just another day in business.

Where is this Great Eastern Branch by the way? Some people are just sick.

So sad to hear all these... ..... The thing is they treat the SG so badly yet they sell so high price. I am so mad at them.

Wish i can do something.....will definitely voice it out to my friend in NTV7 and see whether they can help to voice this out to the public on targeting how pet shop owners treat some of the exotic animals.

at least what Andrew did is a good start.. just too bad that many couldn't care less about these animals.. me and my mom always hate the way pet shops house their sugar gliders..but we din do anything about it.. so one person standing up for them is a great step.. will follow and learn from Andrew's example.

The Star will always read their emails daily.... SPCA... nopes, that is why I said call rather than send email. Same goes with the other animal welfare... still, emailing is something good coz got black and white and got pics as well.

The Star will always cover up and edit company names... so, not a very proper thing if we want people to know about which company or shop but it is a good start. Too bad Pet World Magazine stopped production, if not can get them to do a story on petshops mistreating animals.

NEW reliable insider information: Pets Wonderland MV manager: I find nothing wrong bout the condition the gliders are kept in. The e-mail is absurd. The poster(Taggy) knows nothing about keeping Suger Gliders.

went to MV and saw PW under "renovation".. then told my frens what happened..they were appalled at the way PW handled things.

i wanna slap him my self...i dint hear it. my friend told me. i still got ppl in pets wonderland thats on my side and supporting what i doing now. so thats how i get inside information. later mayb after CNY i will post a picture of a dog that they had back in 2006. taken in the vet room...its a chow chow...i think most of u will be shocked by how it looks like.

also...whenever PWMV sends a dog over to 1U the dogs always have problems...joint and limb problems because their dogs dun get exercice...

so far, I heard scales and tail in Aman Suria has, as well as in 1U~ is it true?

btw, I saw my Peachu like jolting today, kinda like hiccup... then later keep lookin at her no more edy... is she ok? anyone has similiar exp?

EDIT : Im worried about my glider's protein level~ today she only ate 1 wormie... and the previous owner toldme she eats 5-6 per meal... any idea whatswrong? Im thinking of dipping it into the baby food desperation strikes~

just bought a female SG yesterday from shop at klang, the seller even dunno the SG's age, i assumed the age arround 5 months less more.

Yes, it's normal they pop their head out from coconut shell or pocket. They looked cute in it. But sometimes wondering what are they thinking.

The petshop from Klang only think of money Ask how old also dunno. The ladyboss say " we all do business, how we know all this" and they were only feeding those suggies with kuaci and water. It's so skinny.

Then ask to bring it out, the shopkeeper say if the glider flys off, we pay. To take them out also they use the stick to jab jab the glider out from the coconut shell.

yeah..the glider is yellow with their own pee in that petshop cage.

I'm having a hard time bathing ur glider and cutting her nails. Very jumpy. But her nails are really long. My hand full of scratch mark.
