 IPMart BAD Experience, i dont recomended them anymore

First of all, this was probably the worst of all online foreign website.

Ordered a HTC ONE M8 For RM2199, with RM6.44 Shipping using pos laju charges.

Yes i understand its 3 May 2014 is (Saturday) and 4 May is (Sunday), they make promised to deliver item within 4 days.

Firstly i emailed them on 5 MAY 2014 Regarding estimated delivery, no CONFIRM DATE as they said in T&C as in 1-4 working days.

Who do need 4 days to pack a phone just for shipping?

I do online business myself, and item are usually shipped in just 1 next working days.

Yes, UNLESS if you dont have stock at all?? Then no point.

1 other thing i realise, they dont tell us whether they have STOCK or NOT for current item we're buying.

On 6 May 2104 at 12pm or so, i emailed them another email regarding if they cant promised to SHIPPED BY TODAY which 7 MAY 2014, just cancelled all my order and process for a REFUND

On website, they promised to REPLY EMAIL within 24 Hours or working days, on today, 7 MAY 2014, no email reply at all from them, and now is 5.31PM

We all know HTC One M8 Official launch in Malaysia is on 8 May 2014, and all other store already carry ready in stock for this model.

they doesnt said that the item is PRE-ORDER. Its just PURCHASED, they should already have stock.

I Think its them dont have stock, and trying to delay shipment. its RM2k purchased for god sake, they should do speedup delivering item.

I could understand if the Pos Laju that taking their time, but this is SELLER @ MERCHANT who do delay for shipment, its was like trying to prevent people from buying from them anymore.

I also do online shopping on DECATHLON, which take 3 days max to prepare shipment for large and lots of sport equipment, plus all item comes from SINGAPORE!!

I Also do online shopping from Lazada, so far no problem. Plus other online shopping website WILL SHOW STOCK AVAILABILITY!

So Today i made a call to IPMart for a refund. They acknowledge that they received the email but didnt reply. Really suck customer service.

So we'll just wait in 2 days for the refund.

If not, this will really go into Tribunal.



OVERALL, if you really patients about your item, yes please proceed. i believe not all item and shipment are being delayed.

By my opinions, you better call them first to get STOCK STATUS before paying and wasting time to follow up and ask for refund.

This is my worse Customer service and worst online shopping experience.

If any friends ask, i DONT RECOMENDED THEM. Better try LAZADA, faster service. Once ordered a knifem received within 3 day after payment received.!

Will update once get my money refunded.

Soooooo Long IPMart!



UPDATE 7 MAY 7.32PM

Received a phone call, telling all stock will be shipped out next Wednesday 14 May 2014.

Very LOUSY-PROMISED-4 DAYS DELIVERY-IPMART-SERVICE!!

Yes i heard a lot about them, but atleast they tell you before you paid no stock or not.
pricing error suppose can report to tribunal also.

item received after long complain, upper management called and decide to apologies on their mistake and for their staff behavior, which insist on not refund as per my ask. continue shipped, and item received on 12 May 2014, which is 9 DAYS after payment made.

send me a rapid charger 2units ipmart brand as a token of their mistakes.
but cases will still go through Consumer Tribunal.

I never had issue with them when I order a set of active studio speakers which went out of stock and I manage to get my refund back in 18 days as they promised.

Dealing with them seems really straight forward as long no threat or aggressive approach to them else they put on hold your case.

IPMart is just a front end to all other retails. They get stocks from the retails and do the customer service and shipping. So if stock delayed, thats definitely the merchant side where IPMart can only do is to chase the merchant for restock.

I am having the same issue with ipmart, if you cannot confirm your stock do not ask for full payment to proceed with order. At most ask for deposit is reasonable. So ipmart is middle man typical Malaysian style business.

Living in Penang cannot find a decent computer store (mostly headphone and mouse that passes for computer store), order from outside customs and delivery will kill u with charges

Yup, agreed. Bought a haedphone from them and they sent it in good timeframe. My 2nd purchase though, buying a UPS on 05 September 2014 at 10:02 PM until now no delivery.

When asked, they said they does not keep stock for "high end" item and have to wait from supplier/seller. Now, still waiting for them to get back to me as I already asked for a refund.

Already filed a report to tribunal.

Dealmates.. the worst of all. order watch, waited for more than 2 month item didnt deliver. Sent hundred of email but didnt reply. Try to make a call, phone never pick up. End up going staight to Dealmates office to get the refund.

Hello guys,

Just wanna update that I just received my PS4, together with two games that I had purchased last Monday. I am so excited to play. I got it quite cheap also (roughly rm1.5k for the whole set, before discount).

Phew, such a relieved. I was slightly freaking out after reading lots of awful stories about Lazada.

I would definitely recommend Lazada if you guys ever decide to buy a gaming console.

I just wanted to share my bad experience with everyone here.

I ordered a laptop from ipmart on 26 November. 10 days after that I contacted them to see what is taking so long and their reply was "we are still expecting mentioned item from supplier". This is the response I got from them day after day, until finally on 10 December they told me the item is not available. That is 15 days after I purchased the laptop online! Of course, I asked for a refund on the same day (10 Dec.). Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the refund and calling them every day doesn't seem to help.

My friendly advice to anyone out there is:
Don't give money to someone who doesn't care about their customers. There are other shops who give their best in providing a good customer service and treating their customers with respect. I am sad to say that I have chosen the wrong one and now am bearing the consequences.

IPMART, one of the SUCKIEST/LOUSIEST online shop EVER!

On 28th Nov, ordered 3 earphones, only to be told that they have no stock (after payment)
Then, they promised to refund it to my bank account (not credit into Ipmart account)..
10 working days later, no news whatsoever. Went and check on my account and it turns out that the credited into my ipmart account.

So since my credit is stuck in ipmart, i decided to give it another try, this time ordering only 1 earphone.
Received a call this morning, saying that they don't have stock.

COME ON, IF NO STOCK THEN PLEASE DO NOT PUT IT UP IN YOUR SHOP! REMOVE OR PUT A REMARK THAT IT IS OUT OF STOCK!!!
THIS IS AKIN TO LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS INTO GIVING YOU MONEY FOR NOTHING!!

Same dude called me again, and then i specifically told him i want a refund INTO my bank account, not credit into my ipmart account

let's see how this goes.

NEVER AGAIN AM I ORDERING FROM IPMART..!!

you're protected by consumer tribunal. and if you dont think that further, mind by emailing them at Contact US at website. last time, their big boss call me to settle it, talk nicely but which didnt help much.

Same issue here, i bought and paid Nvidia Shield Tablet and a pelican nvidia tablet case on 8th November 14, said it was a 3-4 weeks delivery on tablet and 7-21 working days on the case, ok no problem in waiting.

Now still havent received the item.......and delivery still pending, shoot a lot of msg to them, they only respond item have been expedite delivery on the 8th december...till now delivery status is still pending.....

Feel like being cheated all this while....Is there any place beside the help email and msg in the website where i can report. It seems the respond people via website is a person who lied all the time to customer or a recorded answering machine. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

What is the purpose of making business like this?
I even bought nvidia remote control via amazon (because its cheaper), flew from f***ing USA which shipped 2 days after payment and arrived 14 working days after.

I never bought online but there are many instances of online shops like Lazada, pricepanda malaysia and even ipmart gettting at least half or more of their reviews citing that they are late. I don't think its ever a good idea to buy from them and don't even know if I can trust some powerbanks that are 20000mAh as low as RM70 when usual is above RM100.

Hello olak329, thank you so much for your response. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to log a report to Consumer Tribunal. Do I register and fill out a form? Also, is there a second place for reporting issues like this? I would like to report anywhere I can...
The customer service at iPmart is useless and it's already a month now without a laptop and without my money. This is unacceptable.

Hey MacaroniNcheese, I am so sorry you're going through this like me. I have also found that messaging and calling them doesn't change anything. They keep saying that they will "escalate the problem" but all they have escalated so far is my blood pressure. They also said they are busy dealing with a lot of customers, but now I see that they are probably busy dealing with a lot of complaints and refunds (because they certainly aren't busy doing deliveries).

People need to know about this so that they don't get cheated like us. So, spread the word and please let me know of any reporting options. I will be more than glad to file any papers necessary.

To be honest, I have ordered from Lazada many times. I had no problems so far. But it is not about being late with delivery with iPmart, it is about allowing you to buy a product that is not available, not letting me know for weeks that the product was out of stock, and then not refunding my money for few more weeks after that. I still don't have the refund and I am a graduate student without a personal computer because iPmart is holding the money that was supposed to go towards getting a new one.

Ok so it seems like its always the late issue with majority of their orders and late refunds, this is still bad and I would be very displeased if they did that. I mean its like dragging to months for delivery when its suppose to be in a week?

It shouldn't be a problem for a succeful company with good cutomer service. It just demonstrates a lack of quality and capability of handling customers.

Same experience, but till now still don't get my item...
Bought item when 50% discount, make full payment as well..
after 2 weeks waiting, still don't get it.
I complain, they denied,after i show up all evidence, they only admit it..
Then said no more stock for that item, the only option is to refund with the amount i paid.
Means the promotion is a scam, spend your time to get the hardly get 50% discount item, no meaning at all.
They will just told you "no more stock, can arrange for refund" (after one month wait!!)

Effing bad experience with them.
Bought a 50% off speaker from them with a week of waiting, and the product is faulty.
The LED is not working and the sound is not playing!
Really pissed me off IPMART!! Worst first time experience of buying online ever!

Well, I just kena from IPMART. Purchased MSI 290x graphic card due to it's price is much lower than others. End up after 2 working days, online chat with them and ask the status of it stated in progress. When i ask at which state, then only they say waiting from supplier. I was like wtf, if thats the case meaning you are out of stock then don't put it on sale.

Not satisfied, I emailed to them and ask what's the status, (just to double confirm) and end up her answer was waiting for the item to be delivered from the supplier. I was pissed off as this mean that the item STILL not yet delivered from the supplier and I'm pretty sure it will be more than 4 working days, hence it will be more than 7 days to reach me. Told her to call and check with the supplier on my items availability before i lodge to consumer tribunal.

[Update]

on 13 of march 2015, i have purchase :

Soft Flash Diffuser
Wireless Remote Control ML-L3 for Nikon D90
VZTEC BACK-EAR WIRELESS HEADSET
Sensonic EVI500 Earphone

and made the payment on the spot via FPX with total RM 114.45 state.

Then on 16 march I check that the item is not yet sent because insufficient payment, the FPX charge (RM1.50) is not included with the 1st total. Thats weird. then I pay the FPX charge with FPX charge, so Total I have to add RM3 (RM1.50+RM1.50).

Until now I still did not received the item, they say the Sensonic EVI500 Earphone is not yet arrive at their warehouse, so all the items also delayed.

To me IPMART should send the already on hand item then ship the delayed item later & bare the shipping cost, but they wont take the blame.

So called " Processed within 24 Hours after payment confirmation. " wink.gif

Hope StoreKini will update with new & various products. cool2.gif

I paid for my order on 10 April and they only confirmed my payment 2 days after. Then, they use another 3 days to ship out and sent me photos of the products. It was obviously a WRONG item. Different name, different specs. I emailed them but got no response. Need to use live chat, calls and tons of messages to force them to get things done.

They received my returned items 2 days ago and until now not yet give me any response about refund. Today I log in to check if got any new message and found out they had done a big change to their website. All my order history and message history are gone!

Luckily I got printscreen of everything and I'm reporting this to consumer tribunal NOW.

I bought a lenovo s930 from ipmart.com 1 year ago and sent for warranty claim at 25th march 2015, its been 2 months now and I still havent received my phone yet. If I were to bring the phone to be fixed outside, it would only take at most 1 week. So its really bad after service, would not buy anything online again, especially for gadget items. Try to email their CEO, I cant seem to find his email address online so I just email the customer service with Attn to their ceo Mart Tang. Still the same answer, you phone is with supplier service, your patience is appreciated~~Even if I complain here I dont think ipmart would see this and take action~

If bought a RM700 item, you can say goodbye to your rm700 if you claim for warranty. Because they are not going to return your warranty claimed item. They lie and cheat. Say the warranty claim would take 2weeks-2months, its passed 2 months now and I have been waiting for very LONG LONG time now, still no news about my phone. Its the same reply every time I ask them: you product is still in warranty claim process blah....

Plus the phone I bought get faulty very fast within a year which makes me think maybe its because its AP, but it could have been refurbish too, who knows, when I ask them is the phone ORI, they say yes. But now I highly doubt it.

Agreed. Placed an order for a motherboard 1 month ago. Paid them, transaction went through. And yet up-till-date, my delivery status is still at pending status.

Sent them a couple of emails to remind them, yet everytime their reply is the same, saying "We are still in the midst of processing your order. We are waiting for the supplier to allocate the items to our side. We are sorry as there is delay during the allocation from the supplier side. We will expedite the order as soon as possible", it's like talking to an answering machine, there is no sincerity or concern involved. And it's only 1 item involved. If the supplier allocate the item 1 year later, am i supposed to wait for 1 year or maybe longer???

The company as a business should chase after the supplier, not we as the customers chase after them.

Do Not Buy from IPMART** Extremely disappointed, very bad experience!

Same experience, overall, this is the worst online seller I ever met.
20 June 2015, Ordered a smartphone plus memory card, done payment, and got an email telling that the items will be sent out in 1-7 working days. After 3 working days, no progress on shipment status (pending). Then, I asked them nicely if there was something wrong, and got an email that they are "in the midst of processing order". After a week, still no progress, wondering about what they're doing, then again emailed them over and over again. 2 July 2015, the memory card shipped out as partial delivery, received it in fast delivery. Today, I got an email that the smartphone is OUT OF STOCK, and offered an item exchange, I rejected their recommendation, and acquire refund. Now still waiting their reply.
So long waiting, lack of trust. mad.gif

Had a bad experience too!

Ordered a motherboard on 10th June, wait 4 working days and then use the customer support email function and ask them, they just give general answer like 'will expedite' order while I'm asking ETA.

Few more message exchange and they tell me they expecting item from supplier.

However on 3rd July they message me telling the item is OUT OF STOCK and ask me to pick other items or refund....

Wasted 1 month waiting for something that was never really there... Even up till today the motherboard still available to purchase! Wondering is this their trick to get cash flow? Making empty promise, getting prepayment from victims, use the cash to get stock, then refund when they have surplus?

Anyway already made an enquiry via e-tribunal and see anything I can do for my consumer rights! Bad experience!

Great, after 1week plus of 'processing my order' I've just been told the Ouya is out of stock, and they asked me to proceed for a replacement or a refund. I asked for the latter, so here's hoping they manage to handle that speedily.

Not impressed at all...


13th July followup - they have given me store credit as a 'refund'. I've written back that this is unacceptable, and they need to credit my paypal back.

It seems Ipmart has a rather dishonest practice of not listing goods as unavailable and as such 'trapping' your funds to be used in their store.

After 1 month+ I decided to write a bad review on their facebook and received a swift reply from the page admin asking me to email them for refund.

So I proceed to send email to them and they replied me by today that they had completed the refund today (so they actually can do it within a day if we complaint?) and ask me to check the refund tomorrow. I think they just changed management because the refund is done by another company.

Anyway wasting me 1 months of time, misleading customer, and they want to settle for a simple direct refund? Hell NO! Paid RM5 and filed a complaint against this bad company via e-tribunal.

Strongly suggest whoever were bullied by this company, file a complaint against them. Even though you might not get compensated and they might not give a shit, but the more complaint they will definitely feel the pain and do something to improve.

I have a sinking feeling this is a deliberate ploy by them to fund their operations, interest free micro-loans from their consumer base! Hahhaa

So bad experience with ipmart 😡, poking around with them amost 4 months, as I asked them for refund, they told me that refund was complete. Everyday login to my bank account, checking their transaction, and no result at all. I emailed them over and over, the answers still same, indeed, they asked me to confirm with my bank. What a stupid recommendation!!!

Ok, I called the bank and they answered me that they have nothing to do, because to be honest that NO REFUND TRANSACTION from ipmart or any second company for such amount. Then, I emailed back ipmart, asked them about their truly transaction. The answers remain the same "the refund was bounced".

Bought items 20/6/2015, asked refund, until now 14/9/2015, the refund is still not done. What should I do? What a bad online service!!! vmad.gif

bought a freaking powercase for my 5s! a freaking powercase! turns out to be a faulty one. the thing wont charge my phone and led indicator showed the same level even after days of charge. ask for a refund. they asked me to snap video to show how its being broken. freaking recorded the video their email server couldnt even receive email more than 10mb -.-. then asked me to send picture. then i sent picture already. they ask me to pack that thing as how i received it. man this is taking alot of process. if they are asking me to do some more shit or wtv im just gonna ask for a freaking refund. this is my first time shopping with them and would be my last. calling their customer service? goodluck with that! waited for almost thirty minutes no one is answering.

Lazada is the same. not all of us got lucky with them. i ordered a sharp aquos tv (due to its design, the reason i bought online) , they shipped the same brand but different model. its not easy to ship back 39" tv. fukken bad that is lazada.

been survey for 1 week on blackvue 750 dashcam, rm1200+. cant key voucher. then on 6th day can key voucher, another rm200.

after 2 days lazada email me for refund and cancelled my order themself.

lazada sucks, just because they system problem which accept voucher on not suppose to item, they just cancelled it lke that.

eventhough i have many good transaction, but this one sucks really bad. was looking foward for that dashcam
