they have changed rules, i person only can buy 1 unit, regardless any color

Guys and gals,

Please be careful when trying to mod your phone's firmware. Let me share my experience with you. The issues were not due to the phone but actually user error

1. Tried to root using vRoot (Chinese version) - successful
2. Found an English version of vRoot, tried to update - not successful, lost root
3. Factory reset - vRoot still in the phone, phone still unrooted, can't re-root.
4. Tried to load the stock rom from the first post - phone booted up fine, everything was working except that it was a China Unicom rom and could not detect my Maxis SIM anymore.
5. Finally gave up and sent my phone to the authorised service centre, SEMS, in Penang. Followed up with them after 3 days and they said they have ordered a new motherboard for my phone. ETA 7 working days.

Will be really careful once I get my phone back.

maybe the cs is ah beng..not qualify one..haha

Sometime the CS/ Technician take easy method to sort this things rather than spend hours to rectify the problem.
