I would be extremely delighted if we get both but to be fair, Griezmann is so effing good since I started watching him playing last season. This season he is even better. If we can snap them both, it could be the thing we need to improve our squad. The flair offered by Griezmann is definitely better than Moses.

But this guy has hit 20 goals this season. I was pointing out Moses because this guy plays the same position as Moses does...He plays at the wings with strong left foot but with an equally decent right foot. Now that Sociedad misses on Champion League. we can poach on him.

We are expected to have more than 20m+ (excluding the saving of wages on big contract like Reina who is on 90-100k and Aspas who is reported on 50-70k). Of course, I wont be surprise to see the likes of Agger, Toure and Glenny leave. So, if most of them leave, we would probably have a younger squad with a lower wages.

But of course, with CL looming, I reckon BR to keep at least few of the seniors but I still think that the likes of Reina (dispute with BR), Agger (lack of playtime and Barca seems to want a replacement for Puyol and their long term interest mean he would probably leave for good) , Toure ( Clumsy, high wage, decent backup but leadership on pitch is highly doubtful to be able to replace Carra's) and Glenny(contract expiring and recent form suggest he doesnt deserve a new one. Age factor another issue for FSG contract policy) will leave for good.

And then we will always have some unexpected transfer that we dont mean to sell but club offer good price and we sell off to balance the account. The likes of Shelvey, Downing come to mind. I reckon these potential leavers would probably be Suso ( who was rumored to be a bargaining chip for Porto's Fernando deal), Lucas/ Allen( one will have to make way if we make another midfielder signing since we already have Coutinho, Gerrard and Henderson.)

With all these reasons, I think we will probably have up to an estimated sum of 100m to spend in summer with the net spend around 60m.

I watched almost all matches from different kind of leagues when I am free. La Liga is kinda nice to watch to be fair. Serie A too. Ligue 1 however is kinda bored.

We all know pretty well City will win the game. There is no way Villa can get even one point!

The only reason (i think) BR not fancy physically built striker is probably because they are not technically gifted as those smaller size striker and the fact that BR's tactics now rely more on pace means that most if not all of the big strikers would have no chance of featuring in his plan because of the lack of pace. However, given how pacey Lukaku( and the latest name linked happened to be Cavani if Suarez is sold) is, I reckon these names might be considered. Let's also not forget these two are never one-trick player who just hold the ball up for others.

If anything, I would say that physically built striker would be considered only if they have techniques and skills that BR wants and not some one trick big man upfront. Then again, let's not forget BR is one who change from time to time... He changed his formation and philosophy to make sure he gets the best from the team. The fact that we dont have a plan B (which chelsea game has shown us that we can be stopped) probably means that a different kind of striker might be brought in to cater the need for fresh ideas and creativity. Wouldn't surprise if we get a certain Dzeko,Lukaku type of players but let's not get your hope too high because we all know the priorities lie on 1 DM, 1-2 CD, 1 RB (if johnson leaves), 1 GK (for backup) and 1 LB ... Striker is probably the least we need now that Borini is back.

Guess what, before the match started , I was thinking one of these 2 countries strikers gonna cause some controversies and my bet was on Mario. When he got the yellow card, I am even more convinced that that guy will make headlines the next day for some stupid reason. Ended up, Suarez was the one making the headlines.
