Our defense is a bloody joke, we've come this far and the defense just have to screw up. I'm sorry but throwing away a 3-0 lead at this stage of the season is unforgivable. And that includes BR, as manager he should have seen this coming. Skrtel despite being impressive at times, is a liability. Sakho hasn't been impressive lately either. Glen Johnson is the worst of the lot, he don't deserve to be a Liverpool player.

Well so it seems you guys are satisfied with the draw after letting go of a three goal lead. Up to you then. If I was manager, even at bottom club like Cardiff, i would never ever be happy with letting a 3 goal lead go. If you lose to Chelsea because of one slip by Stevie G, that is still okay. It happens. Letting go of a three goal lead? That is not how champions should be. Simply put, we don't deserve to be champions after that.

Rafa Benitez is always capable of finding areas to improve even when we are winning. That is what I like about him. While some of you may be happy with how our team is right now, there are also those who are capable of seeing in whcih area we should improve. If you guys can't see that our defense need improvement, then I really don't know what to say. Jamie Carragher himself has criticised our defense, Skrtel, Sakho. Not only that, he wasn't happy with Mignolet either. When I criticised the defense, I didn't say our overall performance this season is not good enough. It has been a fantastic season but saying our defense does not need improvement is simply burying one's head in the sand. And one way of improving is to show some of our defenders out the door and bring in better players. That's not rocket science.

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ May 6 2014, 11:01 AM)
"You can't feel sorry for Liverpool in this situation because the standard of their defending is not acceptable," stated Carragher

"Even when they have been winning games, it's been 4-3, it's 6-3, it's 3-2 and we always felt that their defence would come back and haunt them with the goals they conceded. This was the night when that back four and the goals they conceded as a team defensively came back to haunt them.

"The strikers normally get them out of jail and at 3-2, Sturridge and Suarez nearly got them out of jail again, but you can't keep conceding goals at this level and expect to win big trophies.

I'll just say this much. To play for liverpool FC is a privilege, an honour. Every time you go out there you are supposed to bleed for the team and fight for the team. Each and everyone of them have to earn the right to wear that shirt. Luis Suarez was being an a$$ last year asking to leave the club, but judging from his performance this year, he has earned his right to be a Liverpool player. In my opinion, and just my opinion, others may disagree, but for me some of the players we had this season had been riding on the success of our better players. Did you guys see Luis Suarez crying out there? What did you feel? I felt anger, angry cause I think he gave everything he got to help us win the title. He couldn't give anymore. He's scored more than 30 goals this season, what else do you want him to do? But some of the rest, they either didn't give their best or their best were not good enough. Either way, the fact is this: one of the world's best striker is unlikely to win the Premiership title this season, because his teammates weren't good enough. And he is hurting so much out there yesterday. So if you guys think that now is the time to give a pat on the back to some of his teammates for a job well done this season, then fair play. Your call.

Sure, we did better than we all expected at the start of the season, and credit must be given to he manager and players. But the question that matters to me, and apparently not to some of you, is which players deserve credit. For me, one or two players can be considered to be riding the gravy train. But hey, it is just my opinion.
