I agree that Agger and Skrtel still have unfinished business with us, looking at our leaky defense, we can't really fully blame our CB. Mind that most of the goals came from either left or right flank, and it mostly came from the midfield.
In short, the whole leaky defense is a problem of a whole, not just the defense. As for the player in and out. The player that I want out badly is Johnson and Aspas. Alberto, Ibe and a few other youngster could loan to another PL club. I would want Suso back to the first team badly. New player? Not really want to comment much because its all up to the club, owner, and BR. But I hope that they may bring in 2 or 3 TOP CLASS players instead of 5-6 mediocre players. |

QUOTE(kenlimfornication @ May 22 2014, 03:10 PM) That's so selfish. A player trains so hard to represent his country and he can probably only play in 3 World Cups yet you are here celebrating the fact that he'll miss it just so he comes back fresh for LFC. ^Completely agree.Yes we all support LFC, and hope they come back with no injury/fatigue. But there's no way to celebrate him missing out something he has been waiting for 4 years. Especially Suarez, we all know how much it means to him to do well with Uruguay. This is a sad news, I wanted to watch L.Suarez at world cup soooooo badly. I really hope he can recover a.s.a.p! Really wanted to watch him trash England. Better if he intercept the pass from Hendo, dash to the midfield, outrun Sterling, dribble past Gerrard, then nutmeg Johnson, making him slipped and face on the ground, lastly chip the ball past through Hart..and GOOOOAAALLLL! |

QUOTE(reehdus @ May 22 2014, 03:55 PM) I used to support Spain because I could identify a lot of the players thanks to Rafa. For some reason, despite England being a mini-Liverpool, I actually was more looking forward to see Uruguay play...sigh, hope Suarez recovers Germany will still be my favourite national team before, now, and in the future. But would love to watch Uruguay too because of Suarez. That is why I am always hoping Liverpool to sign at least 1 Germany player, well at least let Samed Yesil to play in the cup match. |

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ May 22 2014, 07:25 PM) It's ok to be obsessive if they're good enough but the price must be justifiable. I'd rather not spend more than 20M for Lallana. He has had 1 excellent season, yes, but that alone doesn't demand a sky-high price tag. 18m Bony, 20m+ Lallana no thanks really. Like others said, only 1 excellent season, and his price tag shoot up to 20m+?Another rumour was 18M for Bony?? No thank you |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ May 25 2014, 05:56 AM) Marcelo has always been my favourite wing back. Monster up front, but gets back to cover every single inch of grass. £35 Million for Marcelo? I'd take it instantly! But Di Maria will surely cost a lot..Deal BR, please bid £35 Million. Haha. Plus Di Maria too. On a serious note, great last 45 mins. On the edge of the seat most of the time. |

QUOTE(carloz28 @ May 27 2014, 10:36 PM) There are probably 10 - 20 players with Lallana's quality in the market now, and it cost them a fraction of Lallan's asking price. Totally agree, British and Homegrown player we could just promote from our youth, who were developed by us since young. It's just that they are not British and not EPL proven. "Homegrown" players should be groomed from young age/academy, purchasing them at their highest maturity will only drain our coffers faster than you know it. Andy Carroll helooooo? Since we have the budget now, and most importantly CL football, we should just focus on getting 2 or 3 WORLD CLASS proven players, instead of getting 4-6 mediocre players. |

QUOTE(mkaz @ May 30 2014, 09:21 AM) is lambert needed for LIV upfront ?? he's more to target player, carrol-type (plus he's 32).. borini and assaidi both still in the squad (for now) .. Who knows maybe he will be use when opponent park the bus? We can have another option which is to cross into the box instead of rely on the magic pass of Coutinho and ninja nutmeg of Suarez. it would be sad if suso gone tho.. |

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ May 30 2014, 11:13 AM) Just give them the extra 2M and keep Suso. I'd like the club to keep Suso. He can learn from Couts and be a decent backup for him. Unless the club really wants Lallana + others at the same position. Yea, Suso had always been my favourite, although he only get some game time under King Kenny, while BR doesn't really favour him. Maybe he just doesn't fit into BR philosophy. But I really hope BR can still retain him and just loan him out or bench him and play him in cup matches instead of selling him off. QUOTE(weichieh007 @ May 30 2014, 11:36 AM) Dude, you seriously think you can get Remy at 8mil? I doubt you can even do that in Football Manager 2014... Why don't we just top up a lot of money and join in the race of signing Lukkaku? A far far more better option..hahaha |

LOL at Johnson poor touch from a soft pass.. Sturridge brilliant dummy run dragged 2 defenders with him, if and only if Johnson had a little better touch, he could get 1 on 1 with the keeper..

QUOTE(sickx @ Jun 2 2014, 08:21 AM) I have to disagree with anyone who rated Lallana below 25m pound. he is definitely worth that amount of money considering his performance for Soton. and before you ask how many Soton games I watched to judge him, let me just say this, Soton is another BPL club that I love to watch other than Arsenal. for me, Lallana is Soton's Cazorla. if Cazorla cost us 15m pound, then Lallana is certainly worth double to that since he's English. There you go, you ownself said it, why do we even want a player for double the price since he is English? Does an English player superior than other nation's player? But yeah, that's your own opinion, and my opinion would be, HELL NO for a 26y.o English to cost us 30m..What makes him so special to peak at such old age? |
