currently i having trouble with my default icon setting , some of the known files' icons appear to be unknown type file icon , how do i solve this ?
it is a file , not folder or shortcut , is there anyway to change the icon back to normal or other icons by just using WinXp , without using other icon software things ?
thanks

I read your blog ... so there is no way to restore it back ? oh great , guess that some icon software must be used then .... otherwise , i gonna reformat the whole thing just for those puny little icons.
so what you think is the easiest way to customise those icon , i really having some bad time reading those known files as unknown files because of the appearance.
please show me the most simple way to just change file type icon .
Thanks for reply takatoo , hope you provide some solutions
