Has anyone cracked open an Altec Lansing AVS300 subwoofer? I am wondering if this specific model has any kind of insulation, fiberglass, polyfill, or foam inside.
This model (the AVS300) is sealed and glued, so the only way I can find out is to either break open the glued seals (a full afternoon project which will destroy the nice look of the subwoofer), or to see if anyone else has already opened one up.
Is it empty space inside? Or is there some kind of sound-deadening insulation in the AVS300?
Thank you.
