Here are the schedule of all the 64 matches in Malaysian time.
https://my.sports.yahoo.com/football-new/world-cup/schedule/ Must say, find it very disappointing that most of the matches are coming at 12am, 3am and 6am. For all those football-mad fans, it is going to be very tough to watch all the matches, either live or recorded. This post has been edited by Sea2004: May 7 2014, 01:09 AM |

QUOTE(starry-starry @ May 4 2014, 09:36 PM) Anyone knows where can I find which matches from 2014 fifa world cup will be broadcasted by local channels ie tv1, tv2, tv3, 8tv, ntv7?! I read somewhere that TV3, 8TV and NTV7 won't be showing any WC 2014 matches live. RTM has announced they will only show 35 matches, with 24 live and 11 delayed matches. |

Probably either u have to sign up for ASTRO ON THE GO football pass (RM100) or just log on to First Row Sports website to watch live matches for free, but FRS site doesn't provide HD viewing.

Doesn't matter which channel you follow, how are u going to watch all the 12am, 3am and 6am matches ? It is a terrible timing for Malaysians, especially those working. Unless you live near your office or work afternoon shift, it is almost impossible to watch the 6am matches. The speciality of the WC is getting to watch all the matches "live". So, it won't be the same feeling when you record and watch it later. |

True, that's why I'm trying to find out the matches will be broadcasted by local channels so that I'd try to apply leaves in advance!! |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ May 21 2014, 01:07 PM) Thought 2010 WC in South Africa was very kind to Malaysians. Most of the matches came at 7.30pm, 10pm, and 2.30am. All the mamak restaurants were very packed for the 7.30pm and 10pm matches. But it was very hard to watch the 2.30am matches as it was sleeping time by then. The 2002 WC in Japan/Korea was a tricky one as most of the matches came at 2.30pm, 5pm or 7pm. It was very hard for those working to watch these matches. I still remember recording the 2.30pm matches using VCR and rushing from work to catch the 5pm or 6pm matches. I think everytime the WC is in Europe, like the 2006(Germany), 1998(France), 1990(Italy), it is always hard to watch as almost all the matches would come after midnight. I think the match schedule for the 2014 WC in Brazil is influenced by the European requests. |
