Hi, guys! I just got an offer from Technip for my intern. I was told I will be working in the Mechanical Engineering Sector.
Has anyone been with Technip? I'd like to know how they deal with interns. My intern duration is going to be 8 months long, fyi.
Is it only office job, or will I be able to visit sites? What does a mechanical engineer do?
Any additional info regarding will help. Please and thank you.

QUOTE(th3game @ Nov 4 2014, 01:34 PM) Hi bro, nice to know you have been selected to do intern at Technip KL. I heard it's quiet though to get thru as so many applications they received. May I know which department you will attach to? Rotating? Package? Static? They didn't mention about the department. But I've asked them about it, they said they'll get to me earliest by this weekend. QUOTE(Sarsaparila @ Nov 4 2014, 04:32 PM) Mostly intern are doing for office such as documentation and some fundamental of the designs. Just prepare yourself that you are able to deal all the computer software such as ms office and excel. Environment wise, is very good and the staffs here are very friendly. Make sure to be proactive and be more diligent so that the company will hire you after you graduate. P/S: I'm not from mechanical background but other engineering field. BTW, congrats to join into Technip as intern. Thanks for the tip!
