Current using ipad3 wifi with 5.1firmware.
If want to upgrade to new firmware, which one recommeded?
- lag issue?
- battery drain issue?
- jailbreak available?
ipad3 wifi, recommend me firmware

unfortunately you are too late to upgrade now. iOS 7 on iPad 3 has a disadvantage, you wont get the transparent effect at all. It wont look as nice. the music player app seems more like "downgraded" than upgraded because it looks very empty... iOS 6 was the perfect OS for iPad 3. wait until iOS 8 to see what improvements it bring.

I recommended you do nothing. Stick to the ios 5. i had sell my iPad 3 after upgrade to ios 7. It becomes lag and the apps is always crash and not responsive. I don't see the significance upgrading the ios , only a few new features and it is not compatible with the older hardware iPad. I'm now using iPad Air and never ever will upgrade the ios since it is out of the box. I'm currently using ios 7.0.3
