Aiya, 1 season not so good and everyone around us are mocking us. Liverpool are having such a good season and they feel that as if they have won treble or something  Be realistic. Pellegrini is doing well for 1st season, unlike moyes complaining its all players fault, or he needs time.

next season is gonna be crucial... very very crucial. if we dont win the league, we will then be used to mediocre seasons just like what the other teams were facing. Therefore, at whatever cost, we have to go for the title. So, Cavani being here will only help us in our quest next season...

As I've stressed before, we need another striker.

1) RVP is 30. He is not young anymore, injuries and fatigue will set in over the course of the season.
2) Chica/Welbeck cannot be relied on to delivered the goals as a main strikers because they are mostly used as 'second-string'. Look at the number of goals scored between them.
3) Wilson is only 18. You don't expect him to play week in week out without being worn off halfway through the season. The case of Michael Owen.
4) Rooney does not score often. He scores for fun. He is not going to get us 20 goals every season, maybe once a blue moon.
5) Next season is a VERY IMPORTANT season. We need to rebuild our reputation, using players like Tom Lawrence and Januzaj? Realistically? Come on, they are FUTURE prospects, not CURRENT prospects.
6) With the lineup that you are predicting, that is good enough for a Carling Cup match, not BPL. We need experienced players.

With the current squad, we cannot even score 60 goals in the league this season. We need a new striker. Buttner for main LB? Don't hope on it. He does not have the experience to handle big games.

i think this is a bit harsh for him. if we gonna count on experience then none of the youngsters will have a chance to develope. I think buttner has the desire to do well. only with more games can he be an integral part of our team moving fwd.

I think he have the quality. Just need time and guidance. To mention a few memorable game, the first leg against Bayern in the UCL qf. I think he did great that night.

I don't think our strikeforce is bad, and having Cavani would be too much of luxury, where other areas in the team are very weak. I mean since when RvP

became bad player? Or any other strikers for that matter.

RVP is never known for that 'pacey' trait but he is a cunning forward, and his finishing is excellent. But injuries this season really affected his form of late, with the WC looming and RVP is the main forward for the Dutch team, I am worried he will get wornout again. Of course it is always good to have more than one clinical strikers. Chica and Welbeck are good backups, but we surely need another forward if we were to offload Rooney (worst case scenario).

Pace is important in the BPL but not in Spain/Serie A/ Bundesliga. Look at how Man City/Chelsea/Liverpool went with speedy wingers this season. We won last season because of pace too, but it seems to be the missing element this season. I would welcome the addition of a new winger, be it Reus, Muller or Griezmann

3 strikers are not bad IMHO. I don't think RvP's form have been affected much at all. He got injured much of the season, yes but United's form generally have

been patchy, including other players. Welbeck's form has been good, even though there are many haters out there. In the league, his stats are not that much

different from that 30+ million Negredo. How much is Welbeck?  Even if we offload Rooney, the three of them are more than enough, especially if there is no

Europe next season. Just don't see why United would want to spend that much of money, on a single player, that wanted to get out of PSG, just because he is

second best? Heard that one before somewhere  I would love to see either of those 3, but don't be surprised if neither would come. I was really surprised

when United got Mata, but it would be a really major coup if United could tempt Reus. Maybe after next season, when United got back to the top, playing good

football with a certain style. 

As long as we get a couple of good CM, I am fine. Offensively we are quite good with the talent we currently have or coming up.
Defensively, we aren't in too much issues thou could strengthen more. But the main priority is always CM.

With a couple of good CM, they can provide cover to our CB. So less for you.

You can't underestimate Carrick's job the past several season in front of Vida and Rio.

Yeah. With the decline of Carrick, Rio and Vida at the same moment, the decline of the club was so much quicker.
