giroud is a flat track bully. he destroys weaklings but cowers against stronger opposition. but i'm not scapegoating him, the whole team are flat track bullies. the only players i remember taking the game on when we're playing a top team are theo and ramsey. i'm being negative i know, but surely you see a problem when this team plays a big game and they crumble within 10 minutes, we're lucky it's hull today, if it was pool or city i dont know what kind of scoreline would it be.

the problems i see this season:
- not appearing in big games
- crumbling against pacey teams within minutes
- generally poor in first half
- poor depth in attacking positions
- not scoring more than 4, general lack of urgency in play

we could address #2 and #4 by bringing in better DMs and FWs, but #1 and #3 are matters of mental strength. i think winning the trophy would boost this. #5 well, we've seen GD play a big part in deciding titles for a few seasons now, so we need to address it. the only player i see that's anywhere close to a golden boot challenge is a consistent theo walcott, though if aaron ramsey keeps being class he'll be our yaya toure next season. fact is we need a predator to match the suarez and aguero of the league, but even if we dont find one we need to start demolishing teams instead of taking the foot off the pedal.
