I dont think can claim warranty if due to accidental or careless-ness.
Hmm, if no visible cosmetic damages, maybe can try claim as defective unit.

I used to hv this kinda bumper before but it scratches my ZU badly...
Mine is like a clip locking below so when removing the bumper i need to stretch and scratchs the bottom part of my ZU...
Maybe urs is slide type??
