Planning to pick up C6833 AP set. Is the bootloader unlockable for AP sets? Plan to flash CM11.

Yippie, got my white Z ultra lte (AP set)

Running 4.2.2.

Played around, disabled a bunch of services/apps. Not bad, quite stock actually.. don't feel the need to flash CM rom yet.

The phone is naked now besides cap ayam front screen protector. Need to hunt for back screen protector and magnetic cable for charging. More money fly....

But total front and back how much?

Cool. I will have time to consider if I want to thicken the device both side by additional 0.3mm.

Does adding the glass help reinforce the screen when drop? Perhaps lower chance to crack the screen?

BTW does anyone know the if the z ultra can screen mirror 1080p 60hz via MHL?

BTW guys... Im on 4.4.4 now. The optimize backlight option is missing? Does this means it is on by default?

Yeah I unticked that already. I think pre-4.3 stock rom had an optimize backlight option in addition to that one in settings->display. Now its gone.

Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me but seems like the phone is automatically adjusting the dark colors/sharpness for me as I surf net, watch movie, move around the stock launcher....

I got a front and back clear sp for RM25. So far so good, no complains.

Now my ultra running CM rom. Smooth and good. However earlier i dropped by klcc sony center and tried their magnetic dock. Doesnt charge at all. Only works for stock rom i guess. That or my unit got problem.

The dock I tested at KLCC might not be connected... and its not for the Z ultra but for other models.
Felt that the magnet locked but no charging.

So I'm ordering a cheap magnetic charger to test first. If it works then I might splurge on a DK30.

Hopefully not my phone problem because claiming warranty for AP phone will be headache for me.
Not to mention relocking the bootloader and reflashing stock firmware takes time.

On CM11 4.4.4 mine is about 31k

doomkernel is only for stock rom or roms based on stock right?

when he release for the lastest rom .108 then i might give it a go for fun....

i'm still looking for a way to underclock the snapdragon. tried using setcpu to lower clockspeed but turns
out it will only set for the first core. the rest of the cores still running up to 2.2ghz

The one I'm on is Scrubber's port. LRX21.

I never had those issues since the day I flashed that port. Unsure why some would encounter those problems.

I did a clean wipe before flashing it, so maybe that helped.
