QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 22 2014, 09:09 AM) i never tried easy root tools but this seems like a good tool for those whom doesn't want to lose their data. I tried the one click root tool. Stuck at searching for devices but my laptop can detect my phone as i can browse the files in my phone and mmry crd. I tried install the adb drivers, enable usb debugging and uninstall the pc companion already. But still cant works. My xperia zu is on 4.4.4. Any solutions?currently, my rooting method was download older version firmware, flash it with flashtool and root using bin4ry's root kit. once rooted, i will proceed to recovery installation. next is flash the rooted firmware package via recovery, FTF via flashtool and then clear dalvik cache. IMO, this is the best solution for new phones or those whom wanted to switch from custom rom back to stock rom. btw, never ever, ever unlock the bootloader until you backup your TA partition (if you concern about the warranty). this partition is the most crucial where your DRM keys and X-Reality engine was stored. if you unlock the bootloader without backing it up, you are done. |

QUOTE(Aventador700lp @ Aug 26 2014, 02:58 PM) Anyone having screen issue after put the phone in cold place? As,hightechgadgets say,due to the oleophobic coating of the mocolo glass sp,the fingerprints easily wiped off. Many times I on my phone in the morning the screen went a bit buggy and laggy, you can tell by look at it that it is LCD problem, but after take it to a warmer place for a while,it went normal. I was shock at the first time though have to spend a lot on changing LCD... How was the glass screen protector, does it collect finger print like normal clear sp? |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 26 2014, 06:09 PM) During my 1st test, i took photos of the flaps with a digital camera and carefully focused it. Then only I proceed to dunk it. If it fails, im gonna leak the photos to the whole world but lucky it passed. Then, 2nd dunk is in the swimming pool (i will link the video later). 3rd dunk is due to my friend's prank at the pool, and it remain on the pool's bed for more than 1/2 hours. 4th dunk is at Sony's fair at lowyat, in order to entertain customers (and push sales Can water leaked in through the gap between the phone and the back glass? I noticed there is a slight gap between the back glass and phone. I glued thm myself using super glue., |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 26 2014, 09:26 PM) Warranty has already ended . Not actually a gap,but i meant can lift the glass panel up and can see the glue residue along the sides of glass panel. Maybe the sealant that Sony used wear off? I ended up sealing the glass panel with the phone with glue myself. I guess have to avoid water at all cost ady. QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 26 2014, 09:42 PM) Huawei X1 has a much better quality display, phone speakers ( amazingly good ) I see. Zu speaker is really bad and disspointing. Better wuality display as in? Retina like? lol. Is only marginally bigger than XZU due to its narrower bezels Antutu benchmarks loses much out to XZU. It doesn't bother me as I don't play games on my gadgets. Day to day use performance equally good if not better than XZU. Battery life is amazingly high to its 5000mAh battery - easily 10-11 hours SOT without any tweaks. However it doesn't has XZU waterproof features But comparing, the design and outlook,Zu look more appealing to me. Wow,thats a long duration sot for that beast! Btw,any tweaks to increase the sot of ZU ? |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 27 2014, 08:33 AM) you are undervolting CPU, not underclock. these 2 terms are different then each other. I see. Any downsides after undervolt? Need particular app to underclock?the back panel is sealed with a 3M tape like seal and once heated, it will melt. Hmmm. Any chance for the tape to wear off? |

Whats your average charging time? Mine took about 4hours to charge from 19% till full. Using ori charger with fake magnetic cable. The magnetic cable cause the charging time to be longer??

QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 29 2014, 05:57 PM) No significant difference on my previous unit. I was using the cable which I took out from the original dock. From about 5% to full just slightly above 3 hours only mine as in a short cable with magnetic head which convert micro usb cable into magnetic cableFake magnetic cable ? Probably is poorer quality |
