QUOTE(daijoubu @ Jan 15 2015, 01:57 AM) Hey guys A friend's dad just recently had his Z Ultra stolen. Was an original Sony unit. Now considering to get a replacement, but seems that the cheapest Snapdragon 800 phone with large screen is still the Z Ultra, which is the AP LTE version. I'm quite surprised at how cheap it is. Is there any issues with the AP LTE version? DirectD/Satu Gadget selling for RM929 for 2 years warranty (from them), any issues with going this route or should I die die go with original Sony Malaysia set? Thanks! if can wait, wait for Z4 Ultra. if cant, better go with AP set temporarily or for the next few years. there is no issues other than warranty. i can tell you because im using AP set as well but bought more expensive than current price.

Thanks for your advice I'm just a little worried about the warranty, since if anything wrong, especially with the screen, when they replace might loose waterproof ability. So far the cheapest original I found is here: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...7682&hl=z+ultraAbout RM1300 for Non Lte model. You guys seen anywhere cheaper?

But I would advise to take AP if you are short term.

Plan to get a Phablet replace my Galaxy Note GT-N7000, compare Sony Z Ultra to Huawei Mediapad Xi 7.0 which performance is more better other than screen size. Thanks This post has been edited by wccdroid: Jan 17 2015, 06:12 PM

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Jan 18 2015, 10:47 AM) add in : its waterproof as well. But seriously, there is huge difference between those two when you hold it. After you hold the zu,the x1 feels like a cheapo phone tho.

ZU more pocketable.. Performance ZU more promising because of Snapdragon 800.. Only 2 points why u want to go to X1, bigger screen and battery life.. Other than that, go for ZU
