Hey guys

A friend's dad just recently had his Z Ultra stolen. Was an original Sony unit.
Now considering to get a replacement, but seems that the cheapest Snapdragon 800 phone with large screen is still the Z Ultra, which is the AP LTE version.

I'm quite surprised at how cheap it is. Is there any issues with the AP LTE version? DirectD/Satu Gadget selling for RM929 for 2 years warranty (from them), any issues with going this route or should I die die go with original Sony Malaysia set?

if can wait, wait for Z4 Ultra.
if cant, better go with AP set temporarily or for the next few years. there is no issues other than warranty.

i can tell you because im using AP set as well but bought more expensive than current price.

original set C6833 by Sony Center (my here) is selling at RM1199 for warehouse clearance. only black and purple.

ZU has more premium touches while x1 has a godlike battery

add in : its waterproof as well.

But seriously,there is huge difference between those two when you hold it. After you hold the zu,the x1 feels like a cheapo phone tho.

Because it's aluminum. Extreme build quality.

I would definitely pick ZU for the premium look,water resistance,good performance and it has a GPE edition which we can get many roms/kernel stuff(if got developer)...
Btw anymore review on GPE rom??

Scrubber's port seems reliable.
Drawback is its not LRX22.
