I checked out a few stores in Midvalley and online as well, all quoting different prices ranging from 2100 to 2600. All of these come with the kinect and are game bundles.

Obviously this is very confusing. So i would like to know whether this is because of the supplier they are receiving their console from or is there some other reason.

If someone could shed some light on this topic that would be great.

Thanks!

The bundles within the price range of RM1899-2099 is the US bundle which need a step down transformer to operate, some retailer bundle the transformer together but some didn't. The RM2600+ bundle is most likely the UK one, which doesn't require any step down transformer and can be use directly.

Any diferrent in quality between the US set and the UK set? I mean, in term of graphic quality, processing speed etc.

Im at the AGC gameshop at the curve rite now. They sell the Titanfall bundle around rm1979 with kinect but its US set. Question is, why the price for uk set is too expensive than the us set. I don't think its just about the power support issue.

Sorry for asking silly question coz im noob when it comes to new gen console.

Maybe for the UK set, the cost price is high
blame our weak currency), thus they need to
sell it at a high price also or else they won't profit.

Or, they simply jack it up saying the UK ones
does not need extra stepdown adapter this or that,
so price would be higher. Less hassle, higher price.

Business minded all like that one.

Both are correct. UK set doesn't need to use power adapter thus it's more convenient to have plus the currency exchange rate too.

If Xbox One was ever sold officially in Malaysia, the price here would be higher than both US and UK. Like what's happening with PS4 or last gen PS3 in Malaysia. Also same issue of pricing happen for X360 sold in US and UK.

Different country will have different pricing structure. Normally UK pricing higher than US, UK'ers always b!tching how US getting lower price in console and games than them.

How about Singapore ? How is their pricing structure ? I was wondering if I should wait for Singapore or even China version due to the Power Brick issue.

i think singapore set would be cheaper than what the shop selling now in here. but if direct conversion from usa pricing and singapore pricing, usa would still be cheaper. china if not mistake, is using different voltage than us here?

Thanks for the answer.
That's true but I am worry with using transformer or third party power brick.

I think you might be wrong since according to wikipedia with valid sources, the Residential Voltage is 220 V and the Frequency is 50 Hz also.

An Xbox One in UK is far more expensive than in US, mainly due to their tax policy. I picked up a UK Titanfall bundle at Hamley's last weekend and lugged it back in my suitcase, it was 389.99 pounds, which converts to RM2127, whereas in US they're $499.99, which is RM1614. RM500 difference there.

I did, however, sort out the VAT refund at Heathrow, so that got me back about 50 pounds (it's not a complete refund, it's less some fees). So the UK console would end up around RM1850+

I interned there for a few months. It's a trusted online retailer but i'm not really sure how the ipmart warranty works though..
What it covers I also don't know. Better ask them about that.

Well you can actually consider Australia set. General the price here is AUD 598 with 2 games (Titanfall and Forza 5). And you dont need to buy a new 3rd party power brick. I am living at Australia currently.

Alternatively, you can wait for Singapore set on September.
