Multiplayer game feels very similar to black ops 2 with couples of new things

- exo jump makes the game more personal and challenging as in 1v1, if you are good in jumping with exo your opponents cant kill you easily in which previously people could just stand behind you easily.

- aiming feels better and its a mix of blops 2 and mw3

- gun shot sounds a lot better

- a lot of pc players

overall its enough to make me move from blops2 to aw.

* exo survival mode is very good, 4 players co op, killing hordes of opponents that come in waves, drones, dogs etc

in future dlc there will be two extra modes - zombies and aliens based on the strings in the .exe.

There are four DLCs, two of them will be it.

I had fps drops and stutter early on with gt650m.

To fix,

download latest nvidia driver restore default setting for control panel then change these

- power management mode - prefer maximum performance

- texture filtering quality - high performance

- vertical sync - on

then when inside game, use optimal video setting, then change resolution to native

result? constant 60 fps in all maps for me

won't, u can start to tweak all other settings in game to see what actually affects or cause the stutter

just set maximum ping to 200 in player 2 folder config _ mp in steam apps folder

till the dedicated servers are out

go player2 folder in cod aw inside steamapps folder, edit the config_mp in text file, search for ping, change the 800 to 200, then you will be paired with host that has latency <200ms.

to all the potential players who haven't got the games but are enticed for the cheap price of ROW at the moment, stop and think a while

The cheap price tag sold in most steamtrades now are due to the store glitch that turned the intended RU into ROW version for the standard one with subid 54109 (ROW) instead of subid 43894 (RU) which has "allowallowrunincountries)

even in store page, it has disclaimer that you can play only in RU/CIS region, which will give you this error if you are not within the allowed IP. Of course it doesnt happen to the current gifts bought with the glitch (54109)



no mistakes have been made on digital pro version in which RU store is still selling the 48877 subid version which is locked.

so what's next? usually valve will fix the store glitch in a week, changing 54109 to initially intended 43894, and then they will retroactively region locked all the steam gifts bought this way as well as lock all the activated copies obtained during the glitch.

Russian traders of course wouldn't tell you about it, they might argue that it's valve mistake that allows them to sell it, but valve still has the power because the warning that the game is only playable in ru/cis has never been taken off.

the retroactivate region locking happened to both thief and southpark early in 2014, whereby valve employee mistakenly changed the RU subid to ROW subid, and about a week later? google it

so for those who never do any homework before succumbing to the poison and get the ROW at $24, enjoy the game while you can
