mad.gif Last February I bought a deal from Hulala.my (http://www.hulala.com.my/deal/benefit-big-10-set-fpc) with their merchant named FALCON POST CENTER

The whole process was a total nightmare until now!!!

first of all, the delivery period which was in march was not fulfilled by the merchant (falcon).
I emailed them directly on 21st march (3days before the end of delivery period) they said the stock haven't arrived yet, so fine.. hmm.gif then on 25th i had to remind them to update me on the status of the delivery. the owner said they will check with the staff and get back to me asap, WHICH THEY DID NOT. until I emailed them again 3days later, and to my surprise, they said "the item has not reached yet" mad.gif

then after waiting for such a long period, i emailed hulala's customer service and they asked the merchant to proceed for a refund. but that FALCON insisted that the item will reach end of the week and sent out by next week. which was like, 1 week after the promised date. AFTER TWO MONTHS AFTER BUYING THE VOUCHER.

the nightmare did not end there.
upon receiving the product, I inspected it closely, and my god, i had bought a counterfeit product for RM99!!
worse of all, HULALA did not state in their website that the product is a replica or OEM or such. which makes consumers perceive that it is the real deal.. *silly silly me, should have known its too good to be true doh.gif *

So i took pictures of the findings and email it to them.. guess what.. NO REPLY.
I didn't even receive newsletters that I previously received on a daily basis.

*p/s the items did not even match the descriptions of the box* vmad.gif
everything smells artificial and not even close to the product (quality, packaging wise)

to proceed with full refund, I sent the item back to FALCON POST CENTER and they did not receive the parcel. claiming that poslaju did not leave them a notice card, so poslaju sent it back to me. And the way FALCON communicates to people is really speechless.

this is their latest email reply :

hii no received any card from poslajuanyway the parcel alr open, and we cant sell it alru can keep ur self
thanks

________________________________________________________________________

Keep it myself? shakehead.gif you must be kidding me. what am i gonna do with that fake counterfeit product that you have deceived me of?? FALCON did not even defend itself on the matter (selling fake benefit) meaning it admits that it is fake???

Not sure if other buyers realise its a fake.

Feeling lost and helpless. I just want my money back.
Hulala didn't want to take any responsibility, just merely being communication intermediary between FALCON and me.
Took the issue to NCCC but issue still yet to be resolved. cry.gif

Anyone faced similar issues before? advice please????

This is common. Do a search on them and you'll see similar trends. I don't even bother buying branded stuffs from those type of websites anymore.

Oh my... i was about to purchase MUJI bedsheets from Hulala (http://www.hulala.com.my/deal/multi-colours-muji-cotton-bed-quilt-102) but thank goodness I checked in Lowyat Forum first. Seems that there's alot of fake goods and goods that didn't arrive by Hulala, Mydeal etc.

Yummy33, I'm sorry about what happened to you. Did you file an official complaint?

Dear Yummy,
Thank you for shopping with us.

We have read your feedback and
appreciate you have taken the time.

You are an important customer and rest assure
that we shall look into the matter immediately.

My staff will contact you again in two weeks time.
I don't think you will get a full refund as in many
cases where 'water fishes' get 'song lap' (read: con)

NCCC will likely refer the case to some consumer association.
Your case will never conclude in the result that you desire.

We hope you will continue to read our spam and
shop with us. We love to take more of your money.

PS: Remember to keep your credit card and/or PayPal open.

MyiMart is also selling counterfeit product - My Beauty Diary mask. They could not be able to provide me the proof of authenticity of the mask. I m doing the claims with them. They refused to refund me for the opened box. I insist them to refund me the full amount together with shipping cost, otherwise I will use my consumer protection right to make complaint to Kementerian Perdagangan, Koperasi Dan Kepenggunaan.

Last year I had to complain to MCMC for content, file a claim in small claims and put hulala & merchant as defendants. They didn't bother to reply my form, but opted to refund back to my bank. At first wanted to gimme a CN, I said go fly kite.

Stand your ground. Don't let them take you for a ride. The only one I trust is groupon. Even lelong with its ratings give you a better idea who you're dealing with.

Hey TS,

I have bad experience with hulala sad.gif

The managing director (I think the marketing director) not honest in the deal because he took back my products and went MIA.

This occurred 2 years + ago when they were quite new...

Know your rights:

Consumer Protection

Hulala is violating a huge amount of this act! Use this information to fight back against them.

Most daily deal sites, because they want sales and money, is not filtering their merchants who posted on their site at all.

Mostly they don't want to take responsibility because the money has been paid to their merchant, and they will just point the finger to the merchant since they are not the one that sells you the product.

I have the similar experience with MyDeal before.
After 6 months only I managed to get my refund, nightmare.

I didn't think I would fall for counterfeit product but I just did from Hulala.com.my.

I bought a Kipling bag from their merchant..It listed the original price as RM199 but on offer at RM68. I bought it early December and only got it last week. Before I received it, it just occurred to me that the Kipling that I ordered may not be real..

I then sent an e-mail to Hulala CS to enquire if the Kipling bags offered on their site is real (these are still being offered on their site) last week but no response from them. I'm appalled that online site continues to allow merchant to deceive buyers by leading them to believe they are buying a genuine product at an offer.

Shame on you Hulala..

I just got an e-mail reply from the merchant admitting that it is not original... Can you believe that!!! and the worst part, Hulala seems to condone such scheming tactics from merchants who claimed they are offering huge discount on the Kipling bags (implying it is original bag price) but actually selling fake bags. Such fake Kipling products are still being offered on Hulala. I believe it is perfectly fine if the merchant don't use the Kipling name but market it as just another generic bag with no huge discount...

I hope those who bought realized they are buying fakes.

Below is something that I posted in another thread. Repost it here for the benefit of the sisters here:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Geez...I should have googled Hulala's reputation before I bought from them bangwall.gif Now I have become their latest victim mad.gif

My experience is almost similar to most of you. Ordered something, waited for months, nothing was delivered. Countless emails were sent to them asking about the status, and if I were "LUCKY" to get a response, which was very rare, the answers were always the lamest I have ever heard, eg mixed up order with other customer, no stock blah blah blah ranting.gif And you can forget about the so-called customer service line because it will never got answered! I have instructed them to fully refund the cash to me, no gold coins or whatsoever. They finally agreed but guess what, all talk no action! All they did was just clowning around with perfunctory replies! I even threathened them to court but it seems like they just don't give a shit. I am trying my last resort now before I really take legitimate legal action against them! I have gathered all their company's details so that I can use them to initiate legal action.

To those who are in the same boat, if you want a copy of their company profile which consists of all the shareholders' names, IC numbers and home address, feel free to PM me and I am more than happy to send you a copy!

Such an errant, irresponsible, low-grade company! I really don't know why they can continue to operate until this day!

Same here! I encountered the same situation as you do. Ordered something in March and received nothing till May. When call no one answer, countless emails were sent to them looking for an update. No news at all. Was so frustrated with their services. In the end, they refunded me in the voucher format after few months later. Truly disappointed with their customer services attitude.

never heard of this site. Looks like quite well created e-commerce site. Except they have the most failed design I have seen on e-commerce site. If you want to scroll down to their footer to check our things like about us or contact or location and so on, their site will keep loading the products. So the footer keep getting pushed to the bottom. The more you scroll, the more products it loads and it never ends. LOL...failed.

Hulala is a big time cheater, send me fake product. When i file a complain, they asked me to send back and write long report. After spending time writing and money sending back the product, they repeat the full process again and again asking for report after report. Finally I gave up, wasted my money and time and I vow not to buy anything from hulala again.
