Just to double confirm standard Gen 2 Fog Lamp bulb is H3 rite? and H4 for Headlamp?
*
Yup. And they are dirt cheap to replace @ PSC. nod.gif

Btw, found the main reason of the foglights cracking. A common issue with all Proton older models.

Thank for your feedback, what is the estimated price for the replacement?
Btw mine doesn't crack but suspect water entered the fog lamp  doh.gif
*
I changed mine @ PESC PJ Section 13.
H4 is about RM12 including GST & installation.
H3 not too sure, but just changed together with minor bumper repair & refit = RM20 including GST & installation.

Wow that cheap...will arrange and pay them a visit.

I always thought PESC expensive. But surprised on this. Even workshop bawah pokok charges more.
Maybe only for wear and tear items...not too sure bout spare parts..

Btw, any of you guyz going to Alami Proton this weekend? 70% off parts... brows.gif

After 6 years with my Gentoo, I really feel like we are best friends...
Felt the drive was a lil weird these few days with the car pulling left if u release steering while car is moving...
Actually tayar depan kiri got slow leak..
Not bad that the car can bagitau when it needs attention & TLC...

Yup...every time do alignment balancing will of course be told to add chamber screw...
If it's cheap, like RM100 for all 4s I don't mind...but RM100 each, rclxub.gif
So far, Proton Glenmarie managed to straighten my car...so gonna continue to send there for alignment balancing...

Would like to ask, if any of the sifu know what are the difference between VIM and IAFM? According to Wikipedia, CPS got VIM but was saying it was different then IAFM hmm.gif Just curious, recently my other car IAFM ko, gotta disable it. And now worrying if the VIM will damage like my other car also hmm.gif
*
Based on Google;
"perbezaan antara IAFM dengan sistem VIM pada enjin Campro CPS adalah seperti berikut:-
1.IAFM adalah modul tunggal yang boleh dipasang terus pada enjin asas DOHC tetapi VIM pula perlu berfungsi seiringan dengan sistem CPS pada enjin CPS.
2.IAFM berfungsi menggunakan tekanan vakum enjin manakala VIM berfungsi menggunakan solenoid elektrik kawalan ECU.

Any1 here using voltage stabiliser on gen2?

I'm tempting to get 1 as it seems like can improve fc and power of car.

just started to drive my bro's car and I find that the gear shift seemed not smooth. Hopefully can improve it
*
Hmmm...based on experience, doesn't work.. whistling.gif

Previously had a stabilizer connected to battery & compressor...nothing much changed except the aircond rarely kicks in causing inside like sauna... sweat.gif

Hi all,

Of all the absorbers/suspensions which are actually good (balanced handling & comfort) without lowered?

Saw these @ mudah:
1. HWL Mines Gab Hi LOw Adjustable
2. D2 Gen2 Persona Adjustable bodyshift
3. Proride Heavy Duty Waja Gen2 Persona
4. Mines Gab Adjustable

Which would be good and reliable?

Thanks. notworthy.gif

Did you always use thumb to assist on opening the door?

P.S. My friend just told me that 2 of his friends used HWL before
and the absorber shaft broken while driving on the highway.

P.S.2 I'm considering to the custom brand like PRS.
It's something like TiTAN. Hi/Low Soft/Hard including
installation and alignment cost RM1.8k.
*
Yup...thumb on key hole and fingers pull handle towards palm...never pull it directly...but this one patah on passenger side... doh.gif

Hmmm...guess need to go back to normal stock shocks then...coz the prices are very tempting, maybe bcz it's no good that's why cheap sell... whistling.gif
