whats the Advantages and disadvantages for this car

is it really that the gen2 cps drink a lot fuel ??

Anyone have any experience from below workshop?
Any advises? plan to change mine timing belt kit + water pump?

Wanted to change my gen2 tyres (195/55/15) next month,  any recommended model for dunlop, falken or goodyears? Other brands also can, budget Rm250 each...

member sekalian... my gen 2 sudah tukar drive shaft... everything smooth dint got vibrate... sudah abis tukar raining back...

now i start my car vibrate, got sound like bearing sound.. it appear when your car vibrate (start engine, rpm drop below 1k) it got besi sound like bearing... aduh donno what prob this time

hey guys , how to reset the throttle body ?

took mine out to clean because the rpms were dropping so low until mati. was so dirty

now idling stuck at 3 4 k.

old 2004 model.



edit : problem solved, unplugged the battery for a while, started the car still high idle, drove around for a while, then at traffic light  engaged 2nd gear with brakes on balanced the clutch until rpm is around 1000 and kept it there, after few seocnds I could slowly depress the clutch and idle remained ok .

Hi... guys...

My car got a new weird problem again.

There is a some weird 'tack tack' sound coming from around the alternator
or air cond compressor area when I turned on the air cond, shift the gear
to D or R, and press and hold the break intermittently.

I've sent my car for my usual mechanic to check. He said possibly my alternator
bush already got problem besides the alternator bearing already have some sound.

He suggested me that if it's only the alternator bush got problem then can be fixed
but bearing got problem also then should replace the whole thing.

He also suggested that I should go to buy the original one and shouldn't buy the
recond one. Because the recond one normally won't last under heavy load then
he will help me to replace.

A new alternator = RM620.00

A recond alternator = RM160.00
What do you guys think?

I am a light foot driver..each day I travel 10-20km to office and back home only ,driving around pj area..
