Hi...guys...

Need a bit of your advise..

Do yoou guys have the problem with the air cond that
the smell from outside can come in very badly?

Need your advise where to check whether where the problem
come from.

I've also just changed my engine oil from Petronas unknown type to Liqui Moly MoS2 10W40.
It costed me RM125 for engine oil and RM30 for oil filter, labour charge, one big pao, one small pao,
and 2 drinks.

Honestly I don't feel any change at all.

Guys... Recently my car is having weird problem. The problem is
there will be some kind of knocking sound very loudly somewhere nearby
rear left wheel when I turn sharp right and go down hill.

There won't be any problem if I turn sharp left go down hill or turn sharp right
at flat road. Only turn sharp right and go down hill. Besides I don't feel anything
wrong for normal driving at all.

My mechanic said it may be because of spring is very old and become too weak
and loosen a little bit.

What do you guys think?

I heard that 10W30 may not be suitable for old car because some part
inside the engine is not tight anymore. So the engine oil may leak in
and got burnt out with petrol and may lose the engine oil very fast.

Guys... anyone here know the price for Gen2 Original Spring set?

Any recommended brand besides the original one and it's not lowered type?

I don't think I can install the lowered spring because my tyres is 195/60.
I think if I install the lowered spring then the tyres gonna hit the fender.

My friend said it look normal. He suggest me that by warping with the rubber
may help to solve the problem.



My friend said this part also can cause the knocking sound if it's faulty as well.

I have some weird problem again this morning.

When I fully turned the car to the right. My steering
felt kinda heavy a bit as usual but then suddenly
there was the very loud knocking sound 'Tung' around
front left wheel and the steering got shake a bit became
slightly lighter.

Any idea guys?

its caused by driveshaft outer 1 or known as short.. for mine at least, condition almost same as you..

My friend said it's a known issue for Gen2. His sister's Gen2 also has exactly the same issue.
He also doesn't know how to solve it.

Yup... One "Tung" at a time. As long as I don't fully u-turn too fast
then it won't have "Tung" sound.

Turn the steering fast and the speed fast also.

I talked to the mechanic once but I gave him the wrong info.

I thought the sound come from rear left then I told him it's
from rear left. He told me that it's from the spring.

I haven't gone to see him after I realized that the sound
come from front left yet.

My SRS LED is on again. Same error code with last time.

50 DRIV_PRETEN_OPEN_CIRCUIT

The connector at the SRS controller there got loose again.

After I reseat it then the problem will be gone for a while.

Does anyone here know what the part number for SRS cable,
where to buy, and the price?

Anyone know where the turning signal relay located at?

I want to change my turning signal bulb to LED type
so I may need to change my turning signal relay to
support the LED bulb.

nope... I think it's the one at the driver right foot.

Not sure.. there is no label around it. But I checked
the part number with ahpaul. It's the flasher relay.

What will happen if I remove the flasher relay and
turn on the turning signal?

Found it. It's at the fuse box inside the car
at the driver right foot area.

Removed it to test then the signal won't work.
Installed it back the signal work fine.
