all, let me give some feedback for this car for my almost one week driving..gen2 2009 manual with totally stock condition.
i got this car on 12/3/2015, did all my basic service for etc : change timing belt, engine oil, gear oil etc etc on 14/3/2015.
everyday i drive from seremban to cyberjaya to seremban (+-110km)..

when i filled up the petrol for 1st time on 15/3/2015...it cost me rm48 (24.615 liter) for 228km shown on my odometer(105 km is crusing speed, testing top speed, while remaining is city drive), do the calculation, it is like rm0.2105/km or 9.26km/liter , +-10.8liter/100km ..my 1st thoughts was like, fuxk, am i going to live with this kind of figure with this car, why so makan petrol one...

i try to monitor it, drive for yesterday and today from seremban to cyberjaya to seremban with average speed of 120-130km/h, i stop at petronas salak with 183km shown on odometer by an hour ago , the petrol needle point at 1/2 after only 2 days driving, my thoughts was, wtf the petrol needle drop so fast?? izit my car is really consume alot petrol?? then i fill up the petrol can keep on mumbling there, surprisingly, the petrol gun stop at RM21.56, i recall sifu2 here said that still can pump after the petrol gun stop, so i continue to refill until rm25. do the calculation, RM25 = 12.82liter , 183km on odometer, so it will be RM0.1366/km, 14.274km/liter or 7liter /100km...i was      effect, the figure is almost same with my iswara, whereby my iswara drive with average speed of 100km/h only...but even though i fill the petrol until it max, the needle somehow still wont show at 1/1 mark.

After fill petrol at petronas salak tinggi, i drive my car to LEKAS highway, i exit pajam until setul tol. i admit i want to try to speed over 200km/h..but to be honest, my car very struggling to go after 190km/h, to be frank, it is like stop at 190km/h with 5500rpm, cant even touch the 200km/h. Why it is like that?? after few minutes trying, it still not success to achieve 200km/h,i heard that even normal campro can perform 210km/h, but my campro CPS only 190km/h?? i am abit disappointed and upset. I know i am not going to drive 190km/h all the time, but i just curious want to find out how capable this car can go...



Ok, again, as mentioned earlier, i fill the petrol till max level, once i reach seremban, the petrol needle drop from 1/1 to 3/4 mark...it is just a +-35km drive from petronas salak tinggi to seremban, why the petrol needle drop so fast??

Cant deny that, CPS engine really have power, pickup, needless to say, stock engine still able to wheel spin for gear 2, from 0-150km/h, easy like eat taufu..after 150km/h, it is struggle to climb, once reach 190km/h, certificate tapao...

So my concern is,

1) Why petrol needle drop so darn fast, is that normal for all gen2?? or my gen2 something wrong?
2) Is that CPS only able to achieve 190km/h while normal campro can go until 210km/h?? izit my engine something wrong again??

*btw, when i speed at LEKAS, the traffic are clear, only 1 white proton Wira tailgate me and that white Wira able to let me eat dust at 190km/h near mantin exit...

want to ask

if key totally lost, how much if want to change to a new one?

Hi... Guys...

My Gen2 05 1.6 (A) is having some problem and need
you guys advice.

Recently my car had the problem that it couldn't start
but then I turned the key on and off a few times then
it could started and no more problem until now (already
been a few weeks).

The problem that I still having is.. when I just start the car
and taking off. The car get choke up a few time like the engine
was gonna stop and at the same time the headlight also blink.

My mechanic already tested the battery and he said it's okay
but he didn't remove my voltage stabilizer first before he tested
it. He blamed the petrol that since the price is on float then many
gas station like to add the water in it.

I searched online for the symptom and it sound like the ignition coil
or battery problem. What do you guys think?

P.S. Battery is one and half year old.
P.S.2 I just replaced a new ori alternator 3-4 month ago.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought I bought a used car with gearbox problem.
It sounds like a good "function" but most of the time it is kind of annoying. 
er, 2005 gen 2. I'm not sure it is campro or CPS. 
But this auto brake feature isn't found on other car? Most of the time I felt it is wasting my petrol (slowing down the vehicle) than helping me. Especially on highway. Need to press the fuel pedal till 3.5k rpm for it to change gear. 

Serviced almost everything dy. 

By the way, the type of bulb for headlamp is T10 for "small" light and H4 for the "big"? Just to double comfirm.

haha..no problem..i also got my persona cps aeroback around the time you got yurs..still monitoring it a lot.. i still rarely switch on the radio so can listen if got strange noises coming from the engine n suspension..

just wanna know good bengkel for preparation if suddenly got problem..
