I try to stay away from DIY batteries (those gold and black ones) as they tend to leak.

For AA/AAA, I think nothing beats the ones sold at IKEA. Cheaper and more reliable.



FIXMAN branded tools are quite decent. I had assembled quite a substantial set over the years for automotive DIY and they have not failed. It would have cost me a fortune if I had bought branded automotive tools.
