Are there any brokers who provide APIs to retrieve stock quotes, and to execute trades on Bursa Malaysia? Something like what Interactive Brokers does, but for the Bursa.

It's not free or cheap. That's how they make money...

Another way is to download an existing working app, and decompile their java classes....

Can hack in using these apps you decompile.

This looks promising, but it looks like the Bursa only provides data right, it doesn't execute trades?

Also looks promising, but a bit too low-level for my needs. I just want to buy and sell shares automatically, I was hoping I can avoid rebuilding an entire trading system tongue.gif

The link I posted earlier is pretty cheap - basically the biggest cost there is brokerage. I'm ok with that.

I actually did decompile OSK's app and found their APIs - it's surprising how easy it is. I'm looking for something more 'legit', because I don't want to risk actual money on my cacat reverse-engineering skills haha.

ohhh... don't worry you don't need to go until that complex. just that that particular side has got all the low level details of it all should you have a need to check the details

Java API: http://www.quickfixj.org

.NET: http://www.quickfixn.org

another very useful site to get the details of each message type: http://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.SP1/

Never used the .NET library, I used the java one when I did the integration for a client some years back. But anybody who's integrating with Bursa's data feed and is using .NET is likely to be using that
