I hate to break it to you but... thats the most english you are gonna see in the game... you'll be button mashing in story mode if you can't read jap... all is not lost however since you can probably go to gamefaqs.com and getthe story translations from there in a couple weeks....

If you actually read the forums on the official game site (and yes some threads are in English) you would notice that the game has a cult following in and outside japan, especially HK and Taiwan.... quite a number of the SG players have the game as well.. so if you're itching for some people to play with you could always go to the BOB forums and add them...
