A very typical Malaysian pump and dump stock by sharks in the markets.

Some interesting to see..... tongue.gif

Remember or have you heard one of the popular thinking/saying/teaching in the market is to 'buy stocks at their support'?

Take a look at the zoomed in XDL chart.

Yeah, so easy to do this in malaysia and a few mils capital can do this already. Unless you can sit in front of computer whole day and tape read, retail investor has very slim chance to make it.

Good luck and play with money that you can lose all only.

very true.

however not all stocks as badly manipulated as this.

there are still quite a number of tradeable/investable stocks.

Market players just need to do their own homework and know what are the stocks to avoid.  icon_rolleyes.gif

I have been reading your post from time to time. Unless u want to invest for long term, otherwise, it is time for u to swim out to the bigger ocean like hk or US already.

Haven't got the chance to really touch the bigger ocean yet, but like boon said, there are still some good companies around. Plus, as Malaysian, trading local stocks let me know how the products or services they are providing in a more familiar context, in my book, it's quite an advantage. No?  tongue.gif

No liquidity ! period.

Same as many other KLSE counters.
Better pray that nothing wrong happened to this company. Otherwise, when there is no taker, it plunged like a rock.

Hi all sifus here, let's talk some wind abit

YTL corp 4677

current price RM1.65; PE:13.28

financial year profit to shareholder:
2010- 856,764
2011- 1,034,569
2012- 1,181,123
2013 -1,334,155

well about price trend..... errr stagnant since 2 years back, which causes a low PE value

strength: reputation, core business in properties and power, cash rich (cash rich will have many advantages during recession brows.gif )

weakness: less competitive (less project) against other company such as mah sing, sime and sp setia

for a blue chip to have a low PE is actually quite a rare case. somebody is tightly holding the price for his accumulation stage hmm.gif many other which cursing this share for being too stagnant

any opinion?

Chart can be misleading, especially the last one.

Altho it show big fluctuations, but if u look carefully, the difference is only 20 cents in 7 months. Btw, the big long white candle is probably a fund buying.

Worth a buy?

Besides the 'green shoot' seen in the chart...
do you see any positive catalyst for the stock?

What is going to make buyers rush to buy this stock?
