Aiyo don't chase falling stock itu i under the stand la biggrin.gif

that 72 sen is the only 1 day it rebounds, acceptable buying price based on apa wa tarak tahu ma, ma don't under the stand lo, laugh.gif

of course buying at 675 main tipu lo haha

Yea the tea leaves, many other stocks also rebounding. But as i said, news driven, so good news all around, so i felt like panic sell comes with panic buy. So the only logical thinking i can think to buy at 72 is based on FA nia looo

"Buy a bit more" is lu cakap mia ma, wa mana under the stand. Lol

See this is where you need to throw away them indicators and trend lines.

Read the tea leaves.... read the tape.

Well... if you don't see it ... you don't.

Yeah it was less than 20 cents back then. But then you also mentioned because their profit is smallish, the percentage increase of profit could shoot up if their earnings increase??
*
Oh yes...

it's rather a maths thingy.

Whenever earnings is smallish...
any growth....
WILL easily be magnified....

however...... price now and price then..... really faraway.....
which means...
in terms of investing point of view.....
whatever good news/good profit is simply priced in already......

which is why I said....
the risk is much greater now.... sweat.gif

* understand in a happy/wild market....
market most of the time...
forgets the risk word.... hehe...
this four letter word do not exist.....
and the stock sometimes can go gila happy all the way up *

pls enlightement me.  biggrin.gif

Sorry did not really follow this.

One thing I do know is there is no freebie in the shark market.

And whenever there is offers like these, these offers are designed to benefit the main owners themselves.

So for OSKPROP deal, I would suggest you to read the offer thoroughly yourself.

I can't help you on this. wink.gif

Definitely not.

Remember this recent quote la...

QUOTE
In a falling market....
stop trying to guess where and when the stock will make the 'V' turn up.

What does it really mean? whistling.gif

It means that one MUST AVOID being kiasu la....
STOP thinking BEING GREEDY WHEN EVERYONE IS AFRAID....
DON'T EVER RUSH TO BUY A FALLING STOCK!!!!

the opportunity to buy will be there.
BEING EARLY will most likely not help...
cos the stock is falling and most likely going to fall more.

Again..... look back.... at..... Inari.
2.80 people kiasu already.
Saying.... walaehhhh........ this fantastic stock used to be 3.30 la wei....
2.80 sure good discount liao!

They rush to buy.....

They see 2.60..... also rush to buy....

2.40 come...... lagi buy.....

whistling.gif

2.20???

legs weak already.... computer/laptops/ipads...... all closed.... some even delete them stock apps.... laugh.gif

Not true?

These are the folks that rush to buy.......

Smart ones....

They wait.

They don't even have to get at the lowest...
Yup, they don't even bother to catch the low...
Haiyaaa.... simply use la...... say they buy at 2.40.

Now you compare....

Those that kept averaging down..... vs the patient ones......
what's the clear big difference???

even it's in 2.40, it would have possible to drop to rm2, making situation worst
Eh?

The 2.40 is used as reference for one who bought the stock when it is rebounding.

No.

ie after it has hit the lows. !!!!

yaya, i got you. but suddenly in? would you be thinking it is a correction instead of a rebound? cause it is fundamentally intact and you're assuming that its a downtrend is broken?
*
It's just an example la weiii.... tongue.gif

If you do not like Inari example, we can always go back to Homer example all over again..... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

It doesn't matter which stock, really.

It's always the same result.

People can use the classical value argument and throw in the yada yada yada STIFF using all the ABC soup like MOS la... DY la....

result is always the same....

those that chase the stock when the stock is falling will always yield an inferior result versus one who is patient................

stock market always a game of patience....

you wait to buy..
you wait to sell.........

and if you can do neither................. you just WAIT !!!

Boon gor, can you enlighten me what you see from the diagram?
*
Not important what I see laaaaaa............. tongue.gif

Most important (always) is your own reasoning. biggrin.gif

Anyway, let me share some opinions la...

First thing, it's a table of numbers and not diagram. laugh.gif
jk la... ok... no more England lessons... for now.

Second thing... you see 2009 numbers missing.

So logically, what is the first thing you should ask?
Is that table wrong?
Why no numbers?

What should you do?
Check Bursa website and see why.
Well if you check, you would realize that this stock got listed at that time...
which means no 2009 numbers.

Which also means 2010 numbers should NOT be taken seriously.
Why?
It's the first year as a listed company and most of the time, the numbers will be boosted by one time earnings and so forth....
Anyway, I do not know about others but I do not take the 2010 numbers seriously.

If you take that out what do you see?
Look at the column, profit attributed to shareholders.

fy 2011 -- 10.811 million profit
fy 2012 -- 14.700 million profit
fy 2013 -- 15.118 milion profit
ttm -- 22.005 million profit

Now, you do not need to be an Albert here.... tongue.gif

Just look at the numbers...
What is it saying to you?

Isn't the numbers increasing?

If yes, it means the company's profits is increasing.

Simple.

No need to use any bs MOS nonsense to talk.

Now what is TTM?

TTM stands for Trailing Twelve Months.

And the last twelve months, this stock's profit is at 22.005 million.

And then you can double check.

Last reported profit is for fy 2014. (FY stands for Fiscal year)
Now the nine month total profit is at 17.614 million.
When compared to the previous year's total (previous year total is 9.954 million), the nine month profit showed a GROWTH OF 76.95%.

ok?

bro, every stocks will reach a growth limit where growth will not be that great anymore, is not saying that i'm not believing the statistics, but rather to put a safe margin into account.

ok ok talk about other stock ok? fitters this joker after got it's bonus unit issue the price did plunge down alot. now will sbccorp follows it's path? interested to see sbccorp movement before and after releasing their bonus share

in your opinion, should we buy a share before or after bonus/split?
*
1) Yes, it's ok to use a lower estimate but all I am showing is the current stats and yes, not all growth will last forever. However with the company due to report it's last quarter profits for the year and current 3 quarters profit already more than 76 percent, for it to achieve just 30 percent growth for the year, for this to happen, you are implying a very serious decline in Q4 profit numbers. Whwn this happen (and I don't think you would want it to happen, the stock should see a huge decline in stock price!

2) If you are interested you should also look at Censot. Case same. Stock fell after the so called free warrants.

3) I don't know. Bonus do not add value to a stock but it can create some positive vibes on it.
