laugh.gif valid breakout eh? Gratz holders

As usual, ayam lari again for me rclxub.gif

During that breakout, when i saw the bid is at 0.845, hence i queue there, but too bad it never reach me though got ppl throw at that price. Next few days i waited for 0.845-0.855 but 0.855 at bid is the cheapest. Haha, so saddist. If only i could monitor the whole movement throughout the day =.="

Speaking of one-off profit/unjustified profit like Scientix/Fitters,

MPHBCAP fits the bill too right? I'm trying to use FA on it, saw a surge in profit then found out is in their property investment or something. How, my FA passable or not? LOL

Fulamak apa ni panjang panjang lecture bagi saya. Wa likey, lol

Well i think for this question to pop out in my head, i must notice of TECNIC before. But i do not have this in my watchlist, so is SKPRES. So unless i everyday check top gainer or have some sort of screening then maybe that question will pop out

So basically what your saying is same sector and yes you had pointed out several times before of same sector comparison

As for the breakout, i could have buy 0.85 at that moment when i saw, but i chose not to because i assume it will retrace. Well it did but not as low as i want to. But your earlier post mention if i anticipate breakout play, what is 2-3 bids higher, so may keep in mind bout that. But experience tells me everytime i chase a few bids higher, eventually i can get the initial price i want. But when i REALLY do wait, it doesn't come, weird as usual

My types of play? hmm.gif laugh.gif

Recently banyak ayam lari, i sudah biasa already lo lol. Basic FA sudah got start implement ma, will ask question time to time eh, laugh.gif

It's NOT one off. tongue.gif

These 2 companies...
they are what you called diversified or.... ROJAK.
they own different kind of business...
and one of them is property development....
in which....
as you would have seen...
profits from it is much more than profit from their other business....

and because it's mixed....
u don't see these companies trade at much higher PE multiples such as over 25x.
Can you imagine the price of Scientex at 25x pe?
*
So what your saying here is diversified company. Hence the low PE, hmm.gif ok icon_rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif

hmm.gif i have a question. How do you know TECNIC and SKPRES both are selling plastics?

One way that i can think of is, i found a good chart through top gainer, let say TECNIC. Then i find the same stocks under Industrial Products. Then i go through one by one to find which other company is selling plastic too?

Actually there are other companies in plastic related industry.
For example: Mah Sing also (but no one cares anymore cos for Mah Sing, property is now their main business)
Thong Guan
SLP Resources
Daibochi
Tomypak
etc etc .....

How know?
Err.... doing a lot of research over the years help a lot. tongue.gif
*
Yeap i knew Mahsing for its property

Daibochi i thought is the food right?
Tomypak is the packaging like Boxpak?

Now i know why i don't have all those stocks because there's no volume on them =.="

brows.gif research/homework will never be enough in stock market eh. Almost can learn something everyday in them

Edit: quick look on those stocks you mentioned doesn't show much movement (DAI,TOMY,TGUAN except SLP)? So i don't think i would not have spotted SKPRES and TECNIC in anyway before today's closing.

Aiyo, what i did not do? Did not save this chart in my watchlist lo as you know low volume hence i didn't save it =.=

What did i do? I remember i try to implement my FA on it. Let me see. I used i3investor website to check its financial. Quick look on its TTM, with PE10x, its current price is not cheap already ya? Another way i think i calculated is its last 2 quarter total EPS times 2, with PE 10x, below 2 so didn't bother much already lo

Please do note i do this very brief since its low volume doesn't attract me too much haha.

Feel free to bombard as always LOL

Edit: Wa mau breakout d ar IQ? Haha

For happy family, I would pair Vitrox with Elsoft.

Whar do you see now?

Just checked both company background, yeap can see some similarities. Chart wise, both almost same, and seems like Elsoft tries to catch up. Again, later will look c look c FA biggrin.gif

Well based on Annual proft of IQGROUP, TTM and its previous year 2014-03-31 definitely looks good. 50% profit increase ya?

Though its 2013-03-31 has a big difference? May need to check its annual profit of that year to know more.

And yea from low volume to big volume jump surely indicates something. But if based on just chart purely, there's not much consolidate for me to enter except the breakout to the other side smile.gif

I think i found some on BJAUTO-UMW? LIIHEN-spring's answer? Plastic related beacuse of TECNIC/SKPRES-PTARAS? Plantation-TSH? And some i don't really know their business background from today's top gainer

hmm.gif rclxub.gif

PTARAS yeap construction but saw it also do plastic sheet, guess i'm wrong then, lol

Observe market more, see how to do it lo. In my case i view all companies that i know of everyday and i chose the best potential ones to observe lo. Hot stocks eventually will appear in forum eh, biggrin.gif

I think what you meant is view top volume and read news i guess? My thinking here was top volume usually are the goreng ones/penny hence didn't pay much attention there.

Definitely didn't notice MUIIND and based on chart, i definitely tarak trade mia. Check out its website "Through its subsidiaries and associated companies, the MUI Group is primarily engaged in retailing, hotels, food & confectionery, financial services and properties". So i think is hotels? Beh hiao la lol
