Hello sir, May I ask what software platform are you using to perform analysis? I mean the stock chart? Because I couldn't find it in my trading page. I am using Alliance bank. Thank you and sorry.
*

Nothing much. Don't foresee any excitement for this couple of months.

Trying to lower down my property exposure in my portfolio.

You? Still waiting to catch fish?
*
Despite my more cautious approach, I did make a couple of purchases..... tongue.gif

I think it's a wise move.
Properties prices should hold ....
developer cost of land bank have increased over the years...
building material costs are high....
labor costs too.....

So if I am guessing....
there is a chance that we will see a market where prices remain relatively firm ...... despite slower sales...... sweat.gif

Yup. Agree.

But with that, I can't think of any industry that with be exciting.

I won't be surprise if you bought some plantation for long term, considering the low CPO price at the moment.. It will definitely be a good buy now.
*
NO wo..... tongue.gif

Did not buy any....

See... actually for me... I think the big CPO boom.... already ended a couple years ago....
that's when all them planters were literally sleeping on tons and tons of cash.....
the money then were insane...
now?
Good time is over....
I think la... (I might be wrong hor) ....
that perhaps it would take another 3 or 4 years before we see another crazy CPO bull......
my 3 sen opinion la....

and then...
same as before.....
despite the CRASH in the CPO markets...
them CPO share prices....
they held on relatively firm.....
NO MAJOR discounts were seen....

so.... how to buy now?

Which industry are you looking into now?

Do you think consumer products would be a good buy with GST coming next year?
Probably a surge of buying pre-GST like how Japan was?
*
Ah Johnny,

I think you do not know me....
so allow me to be frank for a moment....
I am one who is always willing to share and discuss questions but I am rather JUAL IKAN as I do not have any ideas/tips to share.
More so I am not a qualified adviser.
Talk wind, talk 3 talk 4 I am more than qualified..... laugh.gif

Regarding GST and per-buying of goods.
Hmmm..... I would agree that it's a possible scenario. wink.gif

I still have alot to learn

I saw all your charts on Homer and it seems like it's starting to move.
let's see if it will cross 0.85 or drop back and be a coma stockk
*
laugh.gif

Look around the other furniture stocks this time around....
note what's happening....
see which stock(s) is leading the market....
see what stock(s) is under performing.....
is the reason justifiable?
if not.... do you see this as an opportunity.......
observe..... smile.gif

That's the question lor... tongue.gif

hevea and ah lat is leading. hevea FA is stronger

po huat is under perform in terms of price, cause their financial not up to par when compared to rest

homeritz? hahahaha, maybe already out performed last year, this year need to take a rest 1st. maybe ppl see PE so damn high also no feel like touching

others like li hen their cash flow not very healthy so i didnt bother to dig much. but most of furniture stocks have low PE, which can be used as a reason to goreng brows.gif

Leading....as in term of stock chart.

As a trader, you need to know which stock is outperforming.
The WHY is also needed.

Sometimes we just need to follow the leaders..
Sometimes we look for the DUH cases.. laugh.gif
Cases where the better fundamental stock is underperforming the lsector leaders....

..and for now, Tekseng is the leader already.
Having said...I also note the UMA. tongue.gif
Yup..shoot so fast until get speeding ticket.
laugh.gif

Homer outperform last year?
In terms of fundamentals or stock price?
PE so damn high????
Huh?
Got play wrong mo?

I think homer should be a better choice as compared to tek seng. Homer's net profits higher than tek seng and PE is also lower, which means that it is much undervalued.
*
Ah Hong,

Those remarks are observatory remarks.
It's nothing about which is the better stock.

In the stock market, biasness is the worst enemy of a trader.
When we observe issues like market sector, we need to see it as it is....
and not as per our feeling.

For example, if you note the charts I posted earlier, clearly Tekseng is the current market performer in terms of stock performance.
Whether it deserves it or not is irrelevant.
For example, I cannot say that Homer is better just cos I own Homer shares...
or Homer is better just cos Homer's profits is better.
It's not the issue....

This is Tekseng chart. (OR you can refer to posting #2116 yet again )

user posted image

This is Homer chart.

user posted image

Clearly Tekseng is the better stock no?

(LOL! some quick eye traders would be note the interesting development in Homer chart. tongue.gif)

( Shit... I have been posting so much on Homer.... some might think I am doing some massive hard core promoting... laugh.gif)

Later I would post the comparison chart in the sector......

if based on the charts, clearly tek seng has performed better than homer but homer macam got some activity coming soon, volume surges so high.

tek seng is performing better might due to its recent outstanding quarter report, market expects its next quarter report to be good as well? or just purely fry up the stock becoz of its recent outstanding quarter report?

This is where you need to see the comments spring_onion is replying to...
ie the comments I made yesterday morning.

Understand the comments.

Remember, although I might talk like an investor and post a lot of fundamental shit...
but deep down inside....
laugh.gif
I am but a trader.
I know no loyalty to a stock or to a stock position I might have taken.
