QUOTE(Boon3 @ Oct 22 2014, 08:14 AM) RIP meh? so fast? This other statement in bold...... Here's a good exercise.... Use that on Homer.... LOL At what point did your own FA tell you to buy? At what point will your TA tell you to buy? Compare that to the stock price now.... See any difference? Would it have help... in the future if same situation happens again? And when the market was falling... what did you note? Did you note down which group of stocks was falling? And when market reverses... what did you note? QUOTE(Boon3 @ Oct 22 2014, 09:44 AM) So how come you bought above 80 sen? Did you see how low the stock went? The point is, you can throw all the MOS stuff, etc etc etc..... but in a falling market, the market will ignore everything.... and true enough, the stock fell below 70 sen. Will MOS help you buy at a better price? In my opinion, NO. It's always a NO for me. A stock can always be valuable... but when everyone is throwing the stock down.... the fundamental and the MOS goes out of the window... and the stock will trade lower. Stock buying is like hunting. You need to be patient before you go in for the kill. Remember, a wounded animal does not mean it's a 100% easy kill. Just like stocks... a cheap stock does not mean it's a 100% easy win. Be patience.... you buy it when you think it's low and it's good for both growth and dividend and it it's still fall, your dividend yield is not able to cover you loss, so it's still a lost then comes another 2nd situation: you still hold your cash well and wait for further support to be broken but however it bounce back so the only thing i can think of is that take inari for example. closes 2.05 at thursday, doji formed, reversal signal to buy? ok a clear cut that was a resistance broken from it if you look at 1-year chart so many will assume it's a support level, will it hold or waiting for another downfall? note: somebody just said 2.70 as it's intrinsic price and there comes the the dow beating the bear. next day. it traded in a gap up. so if you mentioned that support level is not a target price to buy, what you mean is to wait to break it's support only to buy? the next question to us that, what happens if US energy report turns out to be bad? it will be another blow to inari and other KLSE stocks as well This post has been edited by spring onion: Oct 22 2014, 03:07 PM |

buy at 84 sen?, checked, 78 sen? checked, 74 sen?, checked wanted to load more at 68 sen... my heart started to wonder whether my mind is ok or not. placed order but cancelled - there is no use to chase a downtrend
in the end, buying something else instead and it's not doing well currently. haha life is always against us |

QUOTE(wenqing @ Oct 25 2014, 08:22 AM) Its normal bro. It need a lot of courage to press the button at 0.6+. LOL enough is enough. i believe there is still many potential markets out there. imagine 10% of outstanding share owned by the people that visit this thread frequent and regulatory. there are many silent readers here too. sooner or later we will bite each another, then someone will turns sour and shoot back at here. i wouldn't want to be such personBtw, nect week Q report out. If less than 3 sen dividend u can buy at 0.6 again.hahaha. QUOTE(Boon3 @ Oct 25 2014, 08:52 AM) Definitely not. even it's in 2.40, it would have possible to drop to rm2, making situation worstRemember this recent quote la... What does it really mean? It means that one MUST AVOID being kiasu la.... STOP thinking BEING GREEDY WHEN EVERYONE IS AFRAID.... DON'T EVER RUSH TO BUY A FALLING STOCK!!!! the opportunity to buy will be there. BEING EARLY will most likely not help... cos the stock is falling and most likely going to fall more. Again..... look back.... at..... Inari. 2.80 people kiasu already. Saying.... walaehhhh........ this fantastic stock used to be 3.30 la wei.... 2.80 sure good discount liao! They rush to buy..... They see 2.60..... also rush to buy.... 2.40 come...... lagi buy..... 2.20??? legs weak already.... computer/laptops/ipads...... all closed.... some even delete them stock apps.... Not true? These are the folks that rush to buy....... Smart ones.... They wait. They don't even have to get at the lowest... Yup, they don't even bother to catch the low... Haiyaaa.... simply use la...... say they buy at 2.40. Now you compare.... Those that kept averaging down..... vs the patient ones...... what's the clear big difference??? |

QUOTE(wenqing @ Oct 25 2014, 11:03 AM) 2.1+ lor. But those on Kl and penang de already at sky price.... hmm what are their current dev? onesouth looks good. other than that, i am not sure about this. one thing about property stocks is that their earnings is not consistence and many are speculating their land bank valueAlthough sky price de also can go to outer space price But I still prefer those with higher margin of safety. I aim very long time already huayang. Every year also got bonus issue and stable dividend. |

at stagnant growth rm1, if a growth of 30% (safety margin is included) Y-Y, i would rate it at 1.15, but based on the current exchange rate - 1.30 is possible

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Oct 28 2014, 06:06 AM) 1) Yes, it's ok to use a lower estimate but all I am showing is the current stats and yes, not all growth will last forever. However with the company due to report it's last quarter profits for the year and current 3 quarters profit already more than 76 percent, for it to achieve just 30 percent growth for the year, for this to happen, you are implying a very serious decline in Q4 profit numbers. Whwn this happen (and I don't think you would want it to happen, the stock should see a huge decline in stock price! hi boon, 1st of all, the profit for 2013-08-31 accountable for more than 40% profit for year 2013 and 30% for profit of TTM2) If you are interested you should also look at Censot. Case same. Stock fell after the so called free warrants. 3) I don't know. Bonus do not add value to a stock but it can create some positive vibes on it. which this quarter profit might be slightly lower if revenue stays or flat if revenue increase due to forex. a forecast of slightly lower margin will affect the TTM profits, making it lower then before. so your 76% also cannot follow blindly lah my opinion only, feel free to shoot about bonus issue, dilution of share is understandable, but how come people still chase after bonus issue announcement? |
