One of the books that describes in detail this durable competitive advantage was written in the book Buffettology.

yeap, it is nice for beginners like me but the book i read not buffettology but by his daughter in law about using financial statement to identify companies with durable competitive advantage

To make OCK sound cheap must have geng profits projection.

Actual numbers I am seeing...

2012 - 13.2 million profit
2013 - 12.9 million profit
ttm - 13.8 million profit.

RHB OSK is saying OCK will hit 32 million profit by 2015 !!!




I think many here want to ask OSK to write report on Homer.

Depends on your appetite for risk really.

From my brother's BIL, they are betting on OCK securing some solar power generation contract which is why the price flew from RM1 to 1.4x

Of course, in Malaysia, the power of imagination always beats reality.

btw, currency exchange does not favours homer right now, more towards hevea in my opinion

About Mudajaya,

Base on Uncle Koon,
Seller is genuine & wanted to unload. Uncle Koon 1 man show acted as hero.

Now the problem is....
1. Is your pocket as deep as his?
2. And he only tell about it AFTER finish collecting, not WHILE still collecting.

So if you jump in also, it was a gamble. See attachment. (No matter how, you jump in your cost is higher than his)

note the USD rates from March 2013 to May 2013.... (I posted a chart somewhere on that posting)
compare that with current rates from March 2014 to May 2014.

That should give you a good idea what to expect....

And many more people will try to make money being a follower.

Yes are good at following.

They are great at leeching onto ideas and tips.
