QUOTE(johnkia @ Jul 6 2014, 01:33 AM) out of curiosity, anyone of you got read the book of warren buffet about durable competitive advantage? That's pretty good stuff. Philip Fisher fans would be quick to point out that Fisher described it as sustainable competitive advantage. One of the books that describes in detail this durable competitive advantage was written in the book Buffettology. |

Bull market eh? http://www.thesundaily.my/news/1104243 OCK current (trailing) eps = 4.93 sen only. Current price 146. PE = ........ To make OCK sound cheap must have geng profits projection. QUOTE Lim forecast OCK's net profit to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 52% from FY13-15, on the back of strong revenue growth in its traditional telecommunication network services through new contracts for network deployment and contracting work for building telco universal service provision (USP)-related sites. CAGR of 52%..... !!!!! ROFL!!!! Actual numbers I am seeing... 2012 - 13.2 million profit 2013 - 12.9 million profit ttm - 13.8 million profit. I think many here want to ask OSK to write report on Homer. |

Depends on your appetite for risk really.
From my brother's BIL, they are betting on OCK securing some solar power generation contract which is why the price flew from RM1 to 1.4x Of course, in Malaysia, the power of imagination always beats reality. |

QUOTE(holybo @ Jul 5 2014, 02:14 PM) I think mudajaya is worth to collect as on Thursday, huge volume to press down the price due to Kidex Highway issue but RM2.40 level is defended + quickly rebounded. I guess some big player is collecting and maybe the India plant going to complete About Mudajaya,Base on Uncle Koon, Seller is genuine & wanted to unload. Uncle Koon 1 man show acted as hero. Now the problem is.... 1. Is your pocket as deep as his? 2. And he only tell about it AFTER finish collecting, not WHILE still collecting. So if you jump in also, it was a gamble. See attachment. (No matter how, you jump in your cost is higher than his) This post has been edited by ctrl_alt_del: Jul 7 2014, 11:19 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Yes, to the extend where he might pass the share to grandchild. ah reboot QUOTE Someone actually asked me to read his Saturday masterpiece. Finally the 1st unit of 360 mw will start firing in a few weeks and most likely all the 4 units of 360 mw will be operational by year end. ..... will start firing ..... ??? .... compare to MD statement last month.... http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/business-ne...from-india.html QUOTE KUALA LUMPUR: Mudajaya Group Bhd is expecting its investment in the 1,440mw power plant in Chhattisgarh, India to contribute somewhere between RM60 million and RM80 million a year to its bottom line from 2015/16. Slightly different, yes?“We expect contributions from our associate to commence this year although it may not be significant. We will see the [bigger] impact in the second half of 2015 as all four units start contributing to the group,” group managing director and chief executive Anto Joseph told The Edge Financial Daily last week.
