QUOTE(Ask_Yip @ Apr 11 2015, 08:45 AM) need to wipe everything before flashing the kdz file? apps will remained or need to reinstall all the apps? Kdz will always wipe everything if not mistaken. U can use lg backup to backup your apps and then transfer it to somewhere safe. Then after install lollipop use the lg backup software to restore.Btw, i didnt use the kdz method as i need root. I just use the normal zip flashing the 30a zip |

QUOTE(No Reason @ Apr 22 2015, 11:13 AM) whoever done the upgrade to 30a, thats how knock code works, right from the screen when it is off. It replaces the double tap.anyone can still double tap to wake up the screen while knock code is on? for me it seems that in order to wake up the screen is either press the power button or directly enter the knock code to directly unlock the phone cannot just double tap to wake up the screen anymore IIRC, during the initial stage of Cloudy's rom, knock code were only partially implemented. During that time, u have to double tap to wake the screen and then enter the knock code. But once it was fully implemented, you don't have to double tap first anymore |

My g2 d802 needs a battery replacement too. Any recommendation where to do it and the price?
Phone is still going strong after so many years, just the battery and GPS issue. Since I've kinda modded the GPS antenna, GPS seems to be working fine now. |

QUOTE(tvcat @ Nov 13 2016, 07:20 PM) I don know where but beware that most of the battery out there is either fake or refurbished. Ya , that's my worry. Either old stock, fake or refurbished from older units. My battery is still working but at about half of its capacity hahah.Lucky my battery is still ok. My next phone have to be battery replaceable |

QUOTE(badrock @ Dec 16 2016, 06:44 PM) what kind of mod did u make to the antenna? add in tiny cardboard at the connector? Card board trick doesn't work for me my gps kinda funny, it can pin point the exact location, just the navigation is out. On the navigation part, at some area it is working, for example around mid valley or TTDI, but if in Subang, it show no gps when want to use for navigation. anyone have encounter this before? So I attached thin wires to the connector. The wires acts like antenna and it does seems to increase the GPS signal reception a lot. If I didn't try to hide the wires and leave them hanging without the back case, I could even get GPS lock indoor. |
