Well, ASUS did call him a hyper modder. Rare breed indeed. Korean dude named Kim Jae-Sool.

Yeah seems like it.

Here is the build log. Sick stuff. This is what I call true custom DIY. http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?1...-System&p=70684

No matter how many times I've seen this build, it still gives me the extra ohmmm to finish my build XD
The same build I watched over and over and over again just to see the coolant running inside~ ^^
Favourite build of all time. ^^

Also use this method to test case air pressure positive or negative. smile.gif

for me, try to paint/put carbon sticker on top of the acrylic so light will be distributed properly. like xspc back plate. just my opinion. )
*
+1 Was thinking the exact same thing too~ but not sure why the modder decided to go with clear arcylic.

One thing I just don't understand is why do people spend so much to have a "good" sample of the same thing. Benchmarks do nothing to real life usage unless you're only using the rig of benchmark scores and bragging la.

RM50k is downpayment for a RM500k house or a Perodua Myvi. It's just insane to pay these kind of money for something that works the same as a RM15k rig isn't it?

There's a fine line between a good rig for NORMAL people and a rig for people with too much money to burn.

i think light distribution of the clear acrylic is much better than the colored one( you will also have the option to change the color by changing the led color. tongue.gif). i think defusing the border of the acrylic will produce much even light. just put carbon sticker/paint on it, it will be fine. smile.gif
*
thumbup.gif Btw any idea where they place the led for this? I had never own an xspc razor before so not quite sure how they manage to make the glowing effect. doh.gif

Side slotted. Drill 3mm hole for 3mm LED. Your acrylic must thicker than LED diameter.

so beneath it is actually clear arcylic? biggrin.gif dono why but I really like this design. ^^
