At shop they all do quite fast because wanna chase time.if do ur self u can wait till last drop especially if u r changing from mineral oil to fully synthetic oil.

i dont know wheres the sensor at the bonnet, but i open and close back and back to normal already..
but today i got another problem..when i turn my steering left or right got some hissing sound...and steering abit shaky when idle but steady when radiator fan spins..i havent check under the hood yet..came back late.

my 5year old waja, last nite, alarm went off, so tried to off the alarm using my key lar....kenot, it appears as though there's some compartment/doors not closed properly. so i checked car boot, bonet, all 4 doors, all are closed tight. however when i start the enjin inside my car with all doors closed, the "open door" red signal is stil on. the central locking doesn't work anymore. normally the central lock will be activated right after i pressed the break, but this time around, it fails.

so i decided to lock my car using the manual way ie. car key lorrrr. This morning while driving all the way to ofis, the "open car door" signal still showing underneath my car odometer.

the alarm is definitely not working now. can't close the doors using alarm cos it always showed some doors are stil in "Open" state while in actual fact all are tightly closed.

wat's the problem? any solution to this? how much to fix this?

thanks for reply dude. finally know the reason behind.
some bastet hit N run my car, left a dent on my left-hand side door, causing the sensor to move outta position. went to accessory shop to put a small sponge to make the sensor + alarm work like normal. will find time to some body repair shop and deal wif it.

Sometimes I also cannot stand those rattling sound,
Expecially those sound Is from dashboard..
Your case try to put sponge or see which part cause rattling and tighten it loh. Should be small issue.

Expecially cooling coil?
Need remove dashboard?

Power window still shit.

I had it change twice a year.

Car out of warranty but power window if replace at Proton Edar shop still got 6 months warranty? No bad wor..
how abt other parts? engine reliability ok? i'm sure alot of cps owner sure thrash the rpm high to enjoy power, so buying secondhand car need to consider the engine...

its oil + dirt so need a degreaser. some soap will do. water sure cannot wash it off due to water+oil dun mix. haha...

anyway i think the rocker cover gasket leaking will have issue? mine also got this dirt around and might wanna change it in my next EO change.
