guys, need help:

my 5year old waja, last nite, alarm went off, so tried to off the alarm using my key lar....kenot, it appears as though there's some compartment/doors not closed properly. so i checked car boot, bonet, all 4 doors, all are closed tight. however when i start the enjin inside my car with all doors closed, the "open door" red signal is stil on. the central locking doesn't work anymore. normally the central lock will be activated right after i pressed the break, but this time around, it fails.

so i decided to lock my car using the manual way ie. car key lorrrr. This morning while driving all the way to ofis, the "open car door" signal still showing underneath my car odometer.

the alarm is definitely not working now. can't close the doors using alarm cos it always showed some doors are stil in "Open" state while in actual fact all are tightly closed.

wat's the problem? any solution to this? how much to fix this?
*
I had this b4 almost 5 years ago - it was my front left door - went SC they fixed it for me.

thanks for reply dude. finally know the reason behind.
some bastet hit N run my car, left a dent on my left-hand side door, causing the sensor to move outta position. went to accessory shop to put a small sponge to make the sensor + alarm work like normal. will find time to some body repair shop and deal wif it.

urgh...  mad.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif  vmad.gif

Sori 2 hear that - maybe if the budget permit need to install hidden camera like those key chain type.

Sometimes I also cannot stand those rattling sound,
Expecially those sound Is from dashboard..
Your case try to put sponge or see which part cause rattling and tighten it loh. Should be small issue.

Anyone servicing air-conditioning before?
Expecially cooling coil?
Need remove dashboard?
*
Mine gonna be 5 years in September never service the air conditioning yet.

The whole set or just 1 unit - change at proton?
If it is faulty within 6 months and you still keep the receipt, you can claim warranty but you must do it at Proton Edar shop.

Car out of warranty but power window if replace at Proton Edar shop still got 6 months warranty? No bad wor..
how abt other parts? engine reliability ok? i'm sure alot of cps owner sure thrash the rpm high to enjoy power, so buying secondhand car need to consider the engine...
*
As long as you keep the receipt than 6 months warranty applied.
Other parts also the same like timing belt etc.

its oil + dirt so need a degreaser. some soap will do. water sure cannot wash it off due to water+oil dun mix. haha...

anyway i think the rocker cover gasket leaking will have issue? mine also got this dirt around and might wanna change it in my next EO change.
*
I have changed mine (the rocker cover) last year but mine is clean now except for that pictures.

oredi pancut itu degreaser - 1 week oredi now still monitoring - but once shine it using flashlight at the same area still can see the oil on top of the side gasket (the one in the pictures) - apa daa Proton management.
Since day 1 never use that oil from kedai spare parts - all the while using semi sintetik from Proton Edar and now since Nov 2011 using FS Royal Purple - punnnn masih ade leaking - my boss using 10 years old Honda City now clocking 300k ++ km tiada leaking langsung - he is using semi sintetik and change the OE every 10k km - when i was on semi sintetik i change the OE at every 7k km.
letih la ini machiam - my 2nd Proton.
nanti takut merebak ke tempat lain doh.gif
still got 24 months loan to go.
